It is my sad duty to be the one who draws to a close the Wonder and our Joy known as Rifleman. I have been a rifleman since launch and have experienced the ups and downs of this profession.

We at times we're the most powerful profession in the game and at other times a profession that was broken or ignored... now we are a profession that is no more. We probably will still exist in a manner of speaking as a profession focus for one of the few combat professions left. The richness that was SWG is being lessened in that we are now a class based system and no longer a profession based one that was the Industry at it's finest. I pray and hope this all works out well but with how every other time they have done a change I doubt that it will be nearly as wonderful as the first time I say Jabba's Palace or was allowed enterance to the Emperors presence.

I was not fully informed of the changes until you all were. As I stated I was not invited to see what they were up to and now you know why. We just don't matter anymore in the new game system. T_T

I paid for a year in advance ... before I learned all this. So I guess I will be around for a while yet. Hopefully we will be impressed but my inital feelings are of total betrayal.

A fond farewell my mistress in arms. I have been here for just as long and enjoyed the roller coaster ride on the forums during all our different forms of existence. Where this new game is going I do not know, but I do know that my rifle shall forever be at my side throughoutit;regardless ofthe state of disrepair it may be in.

I believe nearly everyone's initial reaction is betrayal. Wasn't there a better way to inform the player base of something of this magnitude? Did they expect a different reaction?

Since the second day of live when I picked up a cdef rifle and started grinding that rifle XP, I was a riflemen til the end. I remember all the old broken specials, the first time learning about muon gold and other mind enhanceing foods....hehe how almost 3 months went by before the resources to make T-21s spawned....the old glory days are behind us.

Heres to all the riflemen and women

For the two and a half-ish years as a Rifleman, all i can find the words to say considering the turn of events, goes out to the Men and Women and even our correspondent (That means you Ackehece ), it was an Honor, and a blast, though i dont know what will happen and how things are going to work, i will be sticking around to see things through. I've Generally stayed away from the forums since ive been around other ones for so long, i promised myself i wouldnt worry about it this time, only recently did i feel compelled to even register the thing when ToOW was about to launch, and considering this, id say its about time for me to stop being as quiet as I've been for these 2 1/2'ish years. Thank you everyone for pouring your heart and soul into this profession.
