Why can't it be swordsmen coming to attack us? I just got politician and the **edit** mightier then the sword.

Hehe the Pistoleer Correspondent and I have an understanding. I got Aldeon in on it too, and I hope klawlegna follows it to. Pistoleers don't try to get rifles nerfed and Rifleman don't try to get pistols nerfed b/c either way I get nerfed. And when I get nerfed, humanoids lose limbs

I'm hoping that one day thethree elite ranged combat class correspondents could work together to get their weapons fixed (DX2, T21, Elite carbine) and their specific pool shots fixed (HS3, BS3, LS3).

SNL Jeopardy....greatest skits ever. But back to the origninal topic of this message, the accuracy of a pistol at 64 meters is ridiculous....even the best pistoleer in rl couldn't hit but maybe 1 out of 5 times at that range. Not only is a pistol hard to aim, but the length of the barrel makes accuracy incredibly bad (of course I'm talking with bullets and not lasers). But the fact still is, pistols should be a very close range weapon and as horrible at long range. I mean, rifles arent that great up close, but you can still hit things with thm in real life. If a pistol can hit me at 64 meters, why can't I at least shove my rifle into a gubburs throat and pull the triger?It seems way out of whack to me.

you need to compare the official stats and look at how many pistol users there are compared to how many riflemen there are

Really we need to let the game advance more then 1 day before we jump the gun and say this and that is broken and needs a "fixin". Let them have their guns for at least a week to see if it truly does unbalance combat at our ranges before the shout for nerf reigns.

i looked at a flamethrower today. Looked pretty average.


500-850 damage 4.8 speed


better than any rifle

now that's just whining... you need to be < 15m to use FT's specials, and you can't get weapon powerups for it
