Thread: Flurry Shot-- solution to we stink at short range?
Aye, flurry shot works well...will be even better when suppressionfireis fixed. I'm a rifleman/fencer and I've used the dizzy + lunge combo many times and it is usually very successful in pvpand in some cases of pve;as a general rule it only works on humanoids though: things that can go prone/kneel...because to a normal mob without multiple posture possibilities a posture change move does nothing. It often times seems more advantageous than knockdown too because it keeps people down for a significantly long time, easily long enough to kill anotherplayer. The only thing a knockdown has on the dizzy + change posture combo is sheer speed.
"With dizzy, you only fall down if you change postures. So if you had Suppression fire, wich currently doesnt work, you could Make them Dizzy, then suppression Fire causing them to fall down. So now when your dizzy, and see it on your bar, be smart and dont change postures "
is that true?
hmmmm i see two combos to this then...
1. gurrecks or other pet that does posture change often...
2. swordsman... cause right now swordsman = crap that can't even use special move consistently (their move cost the same as our rifle.. 67 action (instead of mind) and they hit at the rate of 2 per sec.... so it drains FAST... Anyway, swordman has no knockdown, only a posture change thats only about 1/5 as good as a knockdown... Now i'm just wondering, how long does the dizzy from flurryshot last?
