know how long it last? i used up my combat xp skill to get sword finesse last time...

if it last for quite awhile (40 secs-1min) then i'm defly gonna use my combat xp to get flurry shot =)

btw, anyone know if the "melee defense+5" in that box (the box that give flurry shot) also applies when u're using other weapon? or only on rifle?

thanks! =D

I haven't gotten flurry shot yet, can someone tell me if it's any good? I, like many riflemen, cause serious pain to badguys when they're far away. But as soon as a group charges me and gets in melee range, I'm smoke. Kinda embarassing. Will flurry shot help me keep melee fighters from charging me? I've only been dizzy a few times, but one of the times I fell over and couldn't get up. Is this what usually happens?

It's pretty embarassing to be running away from thugs just because i missed my first shot...

Also-- do you run slower when you have the rifle equipped? I always unequip my rifle when running long distances now because I feel like it slows me down a lot. What about in combat? Should I unequip the rifle in order to kite and enemy?

I don't run any faster/slower with or without a weapon equipped.

I tested it by making 2 waypoints and ran back and forth with and without weapons in hand, and timed it. Recordings showed no difference, just an optical illusion I'm afraid.

You do take less damage though, if your rifle is not equipped. So if you have a creatue chomping at your ass and all you care about is getting away, then it would be better if you unquip your rifle.

With dizzy, you only fall down if you change postures. So if you had Suppression fire, wich currently doesnt work, you could Make them Dizzy, then suppression Fire causing them to fall down. So now when your dizzy, and see it on your bar, be smart and dont change postures

if you're fighting a mob of weak enemies like nuna's at close range try point blank area, you shoot all of them and it's meant for close range, although it doesn't work all the time.

That dizzy posture change knockdown thing sounds good.

Also you can use startle shot against your ranged enemies.

flurry shot works wonders against NPCs... I use it as my first shot and they almost always fall down as soon as they want to fire at me (when they try to go prone/kneeling).

Also, I've used a flurry/suppression combo and it worked great... knocked them right on their ass...

What does startle do? All it seemed to do upon testing was make the mob charge me and rape me as normal.
