that's the key... non-BE brandy is worth about half what BE-Brandy is.
i'm guessing he used the poor version. with BE brandy (+412,45mins, 48 filling on my server) and ahrisa, you should definitely get 0 cost shots.

its no bugg, they want you out of the game for a while your filling is still there, but the stats are gone

My t-21 costs around 200 mind anyway without the bug. i'm master rifleman, and can only use most good specials a max of 3 times even on good BE brandy.
I've found that a good mind bleed can do wonders. if you're haveing mind probs, and don't have the credits to support a brandy arthisa habbit, then CHEAT.
Have your speeder out. Start a mind bleed, maybe pop a headshot as well, then jump on your speeder, and stay out of hitting distance for the gorax, but keep him targeted so you know when the mind bleed stops. Wait till you're unaggroed, then jump off your speeder, and start another mind bleed. Repeat as necessary, and he will go down. Add a headshot when you have a chance to help drain the mind. In my case i also poision mind, but i'm CM too.
That should do it,

You do realize that they changed bleeds, right? This tactic now takes hours and hours on that much HAM.

Hey thanks for all the great tips. I did not know about ahrisa (first i'd heard of it actually) but thats definately my next purchase.
As for the slice on my helmet, i was aware that this was preferable. I think i could advise new rifleman (in light of my experience) that if your going to be hunting things with this much ham (gorax, krayts, elders) a good encumbrance slice is a must. You will kill yourself long before the creature is a problem. Thanks everyone, and i learned some valuable lessons from your posts and the encounter.

Hey guys,,
Although i am still excessively new to the whole rifleman thing and swg in general i have found something when soloing.. specially again bigger nasty things.. with 2 nice brandy's in my belly sure my mind drops and doesnt come back to quick if i am wearing my helmet and i am pumping specials.. but i have found that if i just dont wear my helmet untill the target had counted my mask scent or has spotted me.. i can hammer out specials untill the cows come home. although i understand that against some of the bigger critters especially in this case you would have to be pretty quick with the helm i have found that with no brandy i can prone cover and lay there naked and when hammering specuals my mind still keeps up. just some n00b findings
and food for thought!

The gorax has wicked KD attacks. I was getting knocked down every 10 seconds or less by it even if i wasn't Dizzy. Your tank was probaly getting KD long enogh for the Gorax to switch. My daughter is a Rifleman/Ranger and she too was killed like this during our gorax fight. I spent over half the fight on my back.

Beware this tactic is a favorite of mine also but the last patch introduced a 5 second delay between armor segments. You can get a helmet on quickly if your combat queue isn't full but if you are unarmored it is many seconds getting an entire composite suite on.
