are you sure on that? I haven't been poisoned/disease incapped recently, but last time I was after 3 incaps I cloned just fine. I thought the bug with that was that kind of cloning causes decay, not that you are stuck in an incap loop. Maybe they broke something in the last patch though, haven't tried it since then.






That has been my experience, UW. Poisoned and diseased = incapped 3x and dead...then clone with decay because it is not considered a PvP death for some reason.


That little "feature" is what caused me to give up Master Swordsman/Master Brawler to pickup Master Doc because no one ever seemed to be around to cure disease and poison.

I've never seen or heard of this. If you find someone exploiting report it to CSR for investigation, let them handle it. If players are in fact using an exploit they will ban them andhotfix the exploit asap.

*I* think its because the time is 10 mins and these things happened while taking down a base. What he is trying to say is... there is an way to 3 cap someone with a certain combination of shots. I have seen it in chat... playername has become incapped. Like 3 times in 3 seconds, and then dies. I am not aware that this is a rifleman only exploit.

I saw this happen 2-3 months ago. There were a bunch of loudmouth rebels annoying everyone at Theed starport, so we went overt and killed them. Triple incap was not killing them, we'd incap them again as soon as they got up (~100 seconds) but we were able to keep that up for 20 minutes before getting bored and they never died. We had riflemen, BH, and a bunch of melees there so it is not a rifle-specific bug. I was using only HS3 and strafe2 and incapped one guy like six times in ten minutes and he didn't die.

I've never seen it happen so it isn't a bloodfin bug either. The 2-3 month old one LJK is talking about was fixed I'd though so it shouldn't be that either, but I did see that happen way back when. It's probably just morons trying to bring up another boardwar or just excuses Sam. There's been enough of those on bloodfin to make me just discount it as BS anyway.

That is the Dizzy/KD bug I have seen. If someone in incapped while KD/Dizzied they come back up with minimal health and are incapped again, then one more time. I have tone it a few times to NPCs with and Alt I have that is TKM. When they are On the ground Dizzy they pop back up with like one health. Its not riflemen only, its any KD/Dizzy.

that bug again? i thought they fixed it ages ago, i definitely remember reading somethinglast year about automatically dying if you were incapped while dizzy/kd.

I had this happen to me before on a couple of occasions. I dunno what does it but i have been incapt like 9 times in a row without having to clone.


Until now i thought that it only happened to me.


I thought i was a "greif sponge".


I have no idea what causes it though.

It's not an exploit I am familiar with what tehy are talking about.

When you get incapped your incap time is based on how much damage you recieve in the negative side. I am not sure the conversion but if you have 3 health and you get hit for 50 points of damage you will be -47 health. you will be incapped about 1 min for this.

But if you have 47 health and get hit for 50 points of damage you may stand up before you even hit the floor cause it will only be -3 health.

Head shot has a tendancy of doing this. I have been on the sending and recieveing end of this. I went to DB a foe who got up 1 second after I incapped him and then killed me. I have also done the incapped and never hit the ground, went back to check the logs and yep I got incapped and at the same time stood up.

This can also happen if they get healed just as they get incapped. The heal getting put unseen in the combat que can do this.

It's not an exploit, it's not even a bug. Its just the game mechanics. The reason Riflemen have a greater tendancy of doing this is because most players don't have high mind stats, we tend to do more damage and it works out to be just enough to incap them for 1 second cause of the damage/pool point ratio.

I think this is what they may mean, If you really mean incapping them mutiple times without death, got me.

lol, we're talking pvp. Soon as2 groups are in range these days everybody is poisoned and diseased before you can see eachother!

yes this doesnt seem to be a bug that happends all the time. but its happend to me before. i think its an occasional bug only for some wierd reason.
