Giving Masters the ability to meditate away their BF would just make Teras Kasi far too self-efficient. We need to have -some- forced downtime, not just meditate everything away quickly ourselves and get back to killing things.

well pax, at that point...it'd make sense. Meditation is actually to go to a trance to revitalize body and mind.

This is sorta like the whole Elite-Elite discussion... something that the Devs said was a probability a long time ago, but have never acted on it. Only problem I see with Elite-Elites is it takes away from potential mixed builds, which is the biggest thing going for this game right now. Higher-than-master boxes sounds like a decent enough idea, as long as it doesn't hit your SP too hard.

Well actually TravonLepen, I imagine that his post concerned every profession getting some sort of skill after master (well that would be the only fair way to implement it, us TKA's are just like any of the other normal professions), but only posted TKM's because that is what he is and knows how to make this profession over giving an idea for a profession he never tried before.
I posted an idea back when I was a BH about elite-elite professions, and these boxes sound good too.
The only difference is that everytime I brought up the point on how a person can buy the game, play a week and be the same as me who has played since launch, everyone started to whine.

Great idea, as someone who has no desire to be a jediI would really love this option, the chance to be a Master Master Smuggler/master Master TK. It would open up a wole new world and give me something cool to shoot for!

Yeah i like this idea. Another good one i saw (on the Jedi Boards) was for there to be more than one "end-game" Profession. have 5 on par with Jedi (i'll put a link to it if i can find it)

I like it. I have wished for a long time that there was something more than master. Once you are there you have no progession anymore. Please SOE add some content and elite elite professions.

You are right. Challenges and intrigues associated with Jedi make Jedi Prof very attractive. (Well some people just like glow sticks and having AP of the Gods.)
I would like to have something like Grand Master. But I would like it to be harder to grind. For example, TKGM can no longer wear armor. Instead, the Grand Master skills boxes give you damage resistances BUT NO AP. (AP rating becoming high is extreme damaging to game balance. You all know it.)
(Please please don't make us wear Teras Kasi robes. Then we all have to look the same ... dress the same ... eventually do the same. Jedi is indifferent so they may not care, but we take pride in being able to take down lots of things ... STYLING! ... don't we? Make the resistance come from INNER self. Not from darn robes.)

Personally i love that idea. Giving every profession an ability to progress beyond Master. Really just because you master something dosen't mean to say there is still no room for improvement. I'd love to see Teras Kasi robes. If they were optional clothing available to only those who have achieved above master. If they are not optional then make them varied in style and let us choose the colours =) Great IDEA though love it!

I love this idea. Jedi can have the abilty to meditate away their bf so why should we tkm's that have an inate abilty that revitalises tghe body and soul. Although instead of giving all 4 boxes, make us choose which 1 to have. Make it a trade off and the same with the other high and grand masters of the game. So instead of having all 4 boxes at grand master we have just the one. Personally i'd go for the state resists or bf healing (prolly that because i could pick up defense from fencer)
In a way Armoursmith alrfeady have a higher master or grand maste rif you will in the fact that some can make RIS armour.
If something like this was actually implemented id prolly stop chasing jedi to go for grand master tera kasi.
