I know how to get elders stuck in the walls so they are pretty easy.

I have a crafted non-krayt T21 that's better than yours 783 max.

who cares how good your t21 is. if u actually hunt elders, a 1100 condition t21 is gonna be used up in 3 days. and then your t21 wont be better than anyones cause u will have to go buy a new one

Were you wearing armor?

That was thrilling

I'm master riflewoman/master doctor, mind you. I was using my krayt T21, which is 781 max damage.

I started at 50m trying to lure her away from her friends, but aggro'd an initiate and a sentinel, which I quickly disposed of, the whole time spamming strafe 2.

The fight then carried on of me spamming strafe 2 at point blank fearing for my life. As I hit the halfway mark on my mind pool, I paniced, and hit burst run, then kept pounding away at her as I fled for my life. After a minute passed, burst wore off, and the fight resumed at point blank.

My mind then reached the 3/4th point, and I started seeing death in my future. I ran, trying to find the nearest mountain to try to put distance between the 2 of us, and put 60m between us going through a mountain range.

Ran into a forest, where she hit the the 30-40k mark on her HAM, and she then ignored me, and started walking slowly in the opposite direction. I then knew the fight was over, and stood still spamming strafe 2 until she fell.

This whole fight lasted 5 minutes. Looted her corpse, and received 1720 credits, but it was fun. It was both a challenge, but I knew I could do it if I really applied myself, and I'm rather proud.

After watching how fast my mind went down, I came to the conclusion how incredibly useless ahrisa was in that fight. Since it lasted 5 minutes, that's plenty of time for muon, and canape, which would give me a +2500 boost in willpower, and +500 boost in mind points.

Okay, enough of me bragging, time to try again in a few minutes

Ugh, you're using a krayt T21 and stun protected armour to hunt elders?!? get some lightish kinetic comp instead of wasting pvp armour on them and buy a bunch of generic stocked T21's and get them sliced, keep all the 500+ damage ones for elders, dont waste nice guns and armour for pve

When I hunt big game I have 3-4 generic 500+ base damage T21's powered up, so I can switch to a new one as the powerup wears off, its much better than using a single nice gun on pve stuff. And as a rifleman I think you are better off targeting the mind rather than using strafe, yeah its a much bigger hit but you can and often will hit 3 different pools, if you work the one pool it will generally be quicker when the dang thing has 360k ham.

And for the guy saying how powerful rifleman is.. Yay the secret is out! now go try doing elders or anything else for that matter as a swordsman..

You want power vs a 360k ham critter?!? As a rifleman you will still take an assbeating and your armour will disappear at an amazing rate but swordsmen barely even need to heal against the damn things and they can get hordes of sisters with 20-50k ham in packs of like 10-20 and just mow them down with area attacks while barely being scratched. I wish I could do that as a rifleman! Swordsman is the true PvE powerhouse, not rifleman...

Which is the reason my template is drifting to master swordsman, master rifleman, Medic 4040, Scout 2010 before it heads to master rifle MCH.

Ya thats a fairly effective pve template, I would thinkofmaybe getting powerboost tree of tka instead of scout though, but to each their own and dont get me wrong I would never say rifleman isnt a powerhouse in PvE but swordsmen surpass us.

I wish I could mow through Axkva's house like swordsmen can

If I had the points to get meditation 4 and still have decent medic skills and scout I might do that..but I freaking hate walking so slow...hm...duno what I'm gonna do, leveling Rifle isdeathly slow for me compared to what I did TK and Swords in (5 days for TK and 3 days for swords.) Is there a better way to level rifleman that I don't know about (other then concealshot.)

[edit] Do you think that Master Swords, Master Rifle, TKa 4000, medic 2030 with ranged support 1 (for aim) would be better?

were you grouped in the Geo cave, or just poaching other peoples things? I have counter sniping 3 now so I will head there tonight. What are you hunting...anywhere specific?

Riflemen can solo in the geno cave. If you're unsure of how many you can take at a time, use a bleed to pull one out and use a non-area attacks to take it out. A master riflemen with decent defenses from a melee prof can pretty much walk around spamming strafe2 anywhere in the cave and be alright.

The entrance isa good place for a levelling riflemen to hang out - crazed genos constantly spawn and you don't have to worry about kwis or klickniks.

I can hold my own in the geo cave at the top once I get CS 3, it's pretty easy if you have stun/energy/kinetic armor

flushing shot 2 is high damage, area stun attack, very effective, and makes leveling fast

as a master riflewoman with master doc, using my stun armor, I can solo the entire geo cave, I went down to the acklay and killed it on my own, heheh

now that I think about it, I was using 80% kinetic comp, my stun comp wasn't sliced yet that day I solo'd the Elder, but I like using my krayt t21 when solo'ing something big, makes it go faster.

strafe 2, though, I prefer for pve, I can hit up to 6 k dmg in the combat spam, that's before armor piercing and resists though
