Congrats on the kill, but I wouldn't say that ahrissa is totally useless. I usually pop 2 brandies and 2 ahrissas, this puts my focus over 1500 or around 40+ minutes. Which means I have no mind cost on my specials for 40+ minutes. By time it wears off, my stomach is empty and I can take 2 more. Canape and Muon have it's place, but I find them to be too limiting for me. Ahrissa and brandy combination is the way to go.

That was thrilling

I'm master riflewoman/master doctor, mind you. I was using my krayt T21, which is 781 max damage.

I started at 50m trying to lure her away from her friends, but aggro'd an initiate and a sentinel, which I quickly disposed of, the whole time spamming strafe 2.

The fight then carried on of me spamming strafe 2 at point blank fearing for my life. As I hit the halfway mark on my mind pool, I paniced, and hit burst run, then kept pounding away at her as I fled for my life. After a minute passed, burst wore off, and the fight resumed at point blank.

My mind then reached the 3/4th point, and I started seeing death in my future. I ran, trying to find the nearest mountain to try to put distance between the 2 of us, and put 60m between us going through a mountain range.

Ran into a forest, where she hit the the 30-40k mark on her HAM, and she then ignored me, and started walking slowly in the opposite direction. I then knew the fight was over, and stood still spamming strafe 2 until she fell.

This whole fight lasted 5 minutes. Looted her corpse, and received 1720 credits, but it was fun. It was both a challenge, but I knew I could do it if I really applied myself, and I'm rather proud.

After watching how fast my mind went down, I came to the conclusion how incredibly useless ahrisa was in that fight. Since it lasted 5 minutes, that's plenty of time for muon, and canape, which would give me a +2500 boost in willpower, and +500 boost in mind points.

Okay, enough of me bragging, time to try again in a few minutes

I agree with billy here. Ahrisa is for sure a better choice in my case. I however am master swordsman so the melee mitigation saves my butt. If your not gonna be killing them that often then yes I would suggest canape and muon. But for me I will go right back to that same spawn and take the next elder to come out.

I use ahrisa/brandy for hunting anything except last night with the elders, taking canape and a muon madea HUGE differenceon the 2nd elder, and I took her down much easier

I know it was a nice accomplishment. But you may as well have titled your post "Nerf me I'm too powerful".

Don't be suprised when our damage is reduced by a factor of three in the "Combat Nerf".

Yes, don't let the secret out. hehe,Everyone's been trying to keep it quiet for months! It gets justified by mentioning Riflemen's lack of state defenses and that Block only stops 50% of damage. This somehow justifies me killing long columns of NS in 3 shots or soloing Krayts and Elders.

Seriously though, I think the cats been out of the bag on Rifleman for a while now.

Sort of right I guess. But, a 2H swordsmen, or a tank prof with combat medic, or a variety of other profs and prof combos can take out elders solo. And, she was using a krayt T21, which I bet about 2% of the rifle population has. I am of the belief that NS's should be given their force powers back so that none can solo an elder, but not that any particular class should be nerfed due to their power or ability to take them out...and I hope the devs working on the combat balance agree.

:crosses fingers and waits for the combat rebalance.

BTW, congrats on your accomplishment. You have a very good elder killing template. Just stay away from those pesky Spell Weavers and Protectors, but I'm sure you already know that.

I know how to get elders stuck in the walls so they are pretty easy.

I have a crafted non-krayt T21 that's better than yours 783 max.

what's the point of bragging about your T21? Each server has different resources

2 exploits in one post? A standard stocked/scoped T21 made with perfect resources and a 35% damage slice can't reach 783 max damage. Please do tell us the weaponsmith on your server that makes 580 max damage T21's without krayt tissues or exceptional rifle stocks? So, it's either from within the first two weeks of the game's release or double-sliced. And, no one wants to know how use an exploit to get MOBs stuck either - the devs already got rid of MOBs getting stuck on harvestors but there were bound to be other ways...so glad you've found them.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but your post just smacks with "I cheat to win."

While that T21 looks suspicious, there's a good chance it's 783 damage with a powerup and a slice

A T-21 witha max of 783that had a 35% damage slice and 33% power-up would have had a max of436 after crafting. Most WSs with the best resources can get around the low 400's(nothing higher than 410). Take that as you will.
