yup they sure do. pretty much anything with thumbs drops crystals.

yeah you can conceal shot them but sooner or later that 1point bleed will start and then its force choke and force weaken(which from a elder is really nasty) and she is smacking you about the head and shoulders.

rifles can clean up on jantas but you no longer get the cash from em. your prolly better off hunting meatlumps or ewoks or something for the crystals. they drop the same as janta.

janta crystals have decent chances for the ease of getting em of getting good tunes. my best of a janta poor quality crystal so far is -7fc and +36 damage.

tell me more about this one point bleed. For large groups of critters I will usually lie down at 64m start conceal shotting one critter, but peace every 5 shots or so, then start conceal shotting again, I do this because I believe if I fire continuously and miss three times they will agro me. By peacing I'm starting the counter over again. Is it the same with the bleed?

These days for me its either Siths for the loot, or Nightsisters. All of the sisters drop reasonable stuff. If you are CM you will be able to kill them all.

For elders I suggest the following

1) Use a non area shot to drag her away from here friends.

2) Burst run away until you are at about 60m

3) Begin to SS2 or HS3 her to death kiteing as you go.

4) Keep your stims on a hot key macro that also clears your combat queue.

with a good T21 takes about 10 mins to kill one.

Watch out for Protectors, Spell Weavers and Stalkers. You will need to poison these and finish them off (last point) by fist.

yes it does. The only thing that I found conceal didn't work against was giant dune kimogilias. It seems that only affected a few people though.

In my experience, resists on protectors and spellweavers do not drop at all, not even at 1%.
