Pick up Master Swords and use def vs. KD food and steak and a ls res psg. I was a Fencer/Swords and I could solo a knight, but dropped fencer for rifleman for pvp vs regulars. I havent finished grinding yet, but as long as a jedi doesnt kd you, you should be able to whip him

Pikeman > Jedi!

I find it easier that when and if you KD dizzy a jedi, you can shoot him more often. If not, Pikeman with a nice LVA would pwn up the Jedi!

for me i ahve noticed when i was a pikeman to lay on the fire dots then keep the states on him... and you need nice heals.

make sure your armor is off and if you can hit a warcry then a stim d or e. keep him intim and stun most importantly. it will take some time but he will run out of force. not just one fire dot stack all you have as fast as possible.. i used to do when i was pikeman very effectivley. and now i am rifles i am picking up a few fires just for the jedi.. even if they block it the dot will stick....... so youare stil doing damage

There are two problems with Jedi right now:

1) At Master LS, you have a super low chance of actually hitting them
2) At 4xxx Healer they can heal damage faster than a single lone person can deal it - 1500 a heal to every bar at once.

Find a way to combat those two problems, and you can win.

it is understood that they can heal the damage faster than damage dealt and block like 85%of ranged weapons however. that is why the dots come in to play. at 4000they cannot heal fire. that being said if you ahve a few weapons to switch to you can stack fire.. but to heal with a stim e is best to warcry and then heal. perrie is a friend of mine and we had a friendly duel onetime and you need to have a mind buff and food. the fight lasted over 10 mins and he had 1k of ham left... started with 7k i beleive however we were friendly dueling. and were right next to water he had to keep running into the water to put out the fire in the open not near water i might have won in say 4mins just due to being able to stack all fires and then hit the poisions..... warcry and fire is the key along with nice stims.... i have never had the chance ot try as a rifleman as i am now aquiring my fire dots...... but with some template tweeks i may have a slight chance.... notsure though never tried it as a rifleman. but even if the hit is blocked the dot still sticks........

As a rifleman I killed a lot of jedis, mostly in group, but sometimes in duels - look tracks

Have the following advises:

* Shld have very good precision on ur rifle (+95 or +117 on 54m for DXR)

* Shld have a lot of +Accuracy AA's and CA's

* Eat Citros Snow cake and Synthsteak before battle

* All the time look for good rifles (T21 and DXR) on trade forums

* Find rifle with good DoT (Fire's preferrable)

* Use flushing shots to stun ur opponent

* AT-ST is very usefull ag. jedi knights

Dont forget - a lot of jedi's can be killed in 3-4 shots with good dmg rifle. If u avoid their block. So - good rifle and good accuracy...

A speedcapped Pikeman right now is probably best against jedi. With some fire DOTs and 900+ damage LVAs, they can take a jedi in less than a minute sometimes. TKA is good against tanking a jedi, but it takes a while more to actually kill one. TKA and MLS PVP template jedi are about equal against eachother at the moment. The battles can last upwards of 30 minutes. Speedcapped Swordsman are also good against jedi, but they do a lot less damage than pikeman(at least one with good weapons), and are a lot weaker than TKA with less toughness/defense.

i have never seen anyone beat a GOOD jedi who does not have nice stims.. if you cant heal then you will loose... their power comes from not their damage it comes from the total heal..... yes the damage is decent but i know of weapons that hit unhealable pools for very decent damage.

Ok, ONE question...

A Jedi with master LS blocks 85% of your shots, and resists 55% of its damage. Period.

A dodge-stacking fencer will dodge the same or even more, wears at least 80% armor (40% if stun damage) AND has damage mitigation.

If he pops canape and brandy upon dancer/musician buffs he will give you a harder time than a Jedi, be sure of that.

So what is your point? Indeed damage output from a Jedi is heavy against ranged, but if you ever fought a good fencer you will just face the same + you get intimidate and warcry upon you as a surplus, not to forget blind and stun.

I've had every state put on me by a jedi, in 8 seconds. fencers have really good defenses, true, but you can drop them by intimidateing them and stunning them. I've never had a fencer kill me before a could get a fd off when i started spamming it as soon as the fight started. Fencers can't run almost as fast as a swoop.

I'm only going to tell you this once. Accuracy has never had any affect on saberblock other than keeping you from completely missing the Jedi. Every shot is rolled against the 85% modifier whether there is 1 person shooting or 100. This has been tried and proven. Not all Jedi have master lightsaber especially the noobies. Thinking you beat someone in Jedi robes doesn't mean much if they're still a 1/1/1/1 padawan.

p.s.- unless you've got alot of saved up faction points I wouldn't pull out an AT-ST unless you want to give the Jedi some extra faction points.
