Thread: Should I keep my Laser Rifle or Get a T-21
For soloing, the T21 is the best... Bigger dmg, and Heavy Armor Piercing mean blue and white cons will most likely drop with just 1 Headshot. Slow to recover if you have adds, but if you get a good rythm or movement strategy down, this is easily fixed. ( IE= You have 3 charging you, 1 went down with the initial Headshot, get up, move back some, time for your next shot, make it a Headshot, 1 left which should be easy even if he's right on top of you )
1 shot kills are beautiful... now if only we where worth an ounce of bantha poodoo in PVP...
Laser Rifles are great for taking down the actual Lair, Hive, Nest, whatever... Also best when you're fighting in a Team, and everyone's doing Physical dmg, not Mind... popping off Headshots isn't helping the group when the creature dies from physical dmg. So, switch to your much faster, all-be-it a lot less reliable Laser Rifle, and Aim, regular shot, or provide some cover fire, dizzy, whatever, but make it physical dmg not mind.
Wookiee Bow Blaster... A great weapon for a Wookiee who hasn't gotten certified for Laser Rifle yet... meaning, if you make a Wookiee, and are lucky enough to get a Bowcaster on your first day of playing, good job! By tommorow it'll be collecting dust. lol Really just a novelty to whip out when the fights are easy, and you wanna look stylin.
I made it to master useing it. Not by choice, just on starsider Laser rifles came out like 2 weeks after I mastered.
Also one of the better places for me as a novice rifleman was fort tuskan. Mainly because they don't charge you to melee you. (Dont go inside with your rifle out though, snipers don't like caves as a rule =)
Get one of every type of Rifle. You will eventualy use them all I bet.
I use my T21 solo, DoTs, AoE...
I switch to my Laser to alow my partner more exp/fp when hunting Stormies.
Im also a Master Combat Medic, so timing for attacks and heals are important to me. Therefore, one Rifle just doesn't apply to every case.

whats composite armor, heavy, med ? do you guys use t-21 in pvp or laser rifle?
All armor that a player can own is classified as light. Only non-player creatures and vehicles (that **edit** AT-ST) can have medium or heavy armor. If you need more info check the mini-manual on armor in the Advanced Manuals section. It surprisingly informative compared to what's available in the paper manual.
