Just (re)gained novice rifleman. I was wondering, should i keep my laser rifle or get a T-21? I use my rifle for PvE btw.

T21 has pretty much the same stats put HEAVY Armor Piercing... that equals big damage on some creatures and very little damage reduction on the uber creatures.

Laser Rifle is a great weapon for blowing up creature lairs....

use both. put them on your hotbar. i got spraystick, jawa ion rifle, laser rifle and a t21.

t21 rarely gets used, only against targets that have med or heavy armor and there arent very many of those, otherwise my laser does way more dmg.

I say wait for them to do whatever they're going to do to the rifleman class (3 second cap or whatever they're planning on). In all likelihood they will make our speed horrible, but up our damage a little bit... meaning those T21s might be significantly better than a T21 you buy now. And the T21s out now aren't even that much better than the lasers.

whats composite armor, heavy, med ? do you guys use t-21 in pvp or laser rifle?

I am starting to lean toward the laser rifle. Even without advanced components you can get its max damage well above 600, and at 50 base mind cost you really cant beat it in PvP. Plus the added accuracy it gives you pretty much makes it all around better in PvP. Remember it does have AP2 and that aint to shabby.

T21 is nice dont get me wrong, but most of the time a well made, sliced, powered up Laser will be superior.

all personal armour is light (AR1).

I'm sorry, Bria just got T21's today. I'm not waiting another 3 months to get a new T21 IF they have implemented the changes by that time... and I think it will be longer than that until they decide to add dmg to rifles even if they add the 3sec cap in November.

I got a T-21 today for 25K. I got it for the same reason I got my first rotten Bowcaster i.e.- a Wookiee should have a Bowcaster and a Rifleman should have a T-21. The full potential of T-21's won't be seen until 2 things occur, better resources and some more tweaking by Dev's.
