actually it is a multitude of factors that affect the dxr6b - they require loot components to build (not rare components though)
if they are looted they can carry nasty DOTs
the schematic is a quest item or a loot drop
resources I am given to understand are fairly normal outside of the fact you need to have loot components (so no large factory runs) and the schematic is rare.

I see. So they are not stock weapons at all. That explains it. Thanks for that info.

Thanks... my top two are max damage 492 and 489 (without PUP, but are damage sliced).
I have agood friend who is aweaponsmith.I kinda had an advantage, as I am master smuggler and slice for him sometimes. He usually gives me one or two of the good ones I slice for helping him out. But unfortunately, he isn't practicing as much as he used to. I'd mention his name, butsince he isn't as active as he used to be,he may not want the tells and he may or may not be well-stocked.He works a lot with Pope on Eclipse... so you might try him. I think Pope has several shops... there is one near the Dantooine Mining Outpost, but I don't remember the direction (facing theMission Terminal in the MOP,go about 800m out the gate to theright). My friend still likes tomake "special" weapons every now and then. I think he just auctioned a 745 dmg Acklay Power Hammer on the forums for several million, and kept one that is 800+.

It has a lower acc curve than a t21 so people cannot just blind you and close in to negate your accuracy. They are faster also so no need for a speed slice if u are at 92 rifle speed or there abouts.
I currently carry one that has a damage slice and a +87 kt in it. 4.1 228-578 no PU accurate at +114@52 m.
If the target is not wearing a PSG, use the jawa.. at range and with a PSG, use the T21.. but when he is with a PSG at 10-30m and on the run.. u want a DX disruptor.
