Repairing is practical. If a droid could almost for 100percent of the time repair my rifles....I'd be happy. Specially since I go through them quickly.

On the wishful thinking side: A droid that would enable me "Invisible while in Cover" would be awesome. It would give some useage to my cover tree (since as it stands no one goes in cover specially in pvp; and with the melee modifers enhanced even pve is too risky for it). And considering the devs supposedly made strafe shot a delayagainst someone in cover(haven't been on forums lately so dont know if that was a typo in the notes or what), you'd give more of a real reason to put that skill to use. *Shrug* it's dreaming I know. But dreamers can do that.

Anyhoo, I vote for the Repair if I can't get the wish list one lol

How about a medical droid that actually healed in the field. Either put it on a timer and have it heal when you get to 50%(maybe even player configurable), or make the owner issue a command for it to heal. The advantage would be that it would take the heal out of the combat stackso you aren't waiting for 3 specials for that all important heal. In addition, it would remove the delay imposed when you heal yourself because you aren't performing the act of healing.

Make it use stims so as to not affect the medical sales market. It could also be tied to the users medic abilities as far as speed, level of stim it could use, and injury/wound treatment ability (possibly allow experimentation on the droid to slightly enhance the abilities of the owner). Possibly tie the droids timer and the owners timer together so he doesn't effectively double the number of times he can heal by having the droid do one, then him do one.

I'd like a droid that I could load powerups into and it would keep my gun always powered up. The only way I tell now is the little blue numbers off my head get huge cause I use mind powerups. The problem is I would need him in combat and he would be anihilated. Maybe he could just run to the store for me to buy more when I am in the field and run out.

So I guess the repair thing is good, if you could load it with the best repair kits so you could reliably fix a gun in the field. Not like it would be taking from weaponsmiths because I have not known any to charge for repairs and its just more of an annoying duty for them to have to do anyway.

A droid capable of generating some kind of Shield to protect the owner. This way we wouldnt have to wear any armor. Of course enemy can target your droid instead of you.

A droid that lets you heal while prone

A decoy droid (much like a BH droid in looks) that does NO damage but can take a hell of a beating to send in first before attacking.

Here's two ideas

1) Have a droid that you send out to a target, not to increase your chance of hitting, but to distract the target and keep it in one spot. Can't say how many times I've tried to take out a target only to have to reposition myself after taking a shot because they walked away.

2) Have a droid with a storage unit that you can send out to loot / harvest for you. (R2 go grab his stuff for me. ) Of course the droid should only be able to Harvest if the controling player has the ability to harvest as well. (For balance purposes of course)

I love the shield idea, but they can't even get the shield generators to work.

How about a droid with a built in gun rest, that would increase accuracy while standing. Perhaps a radial Steady command that would link you to the droid. Perhaps you could even incorporate slowed mobility while Steadied. Or if you try to move while Steadied, you just leave the Steady position back to walk/run.

Or... Maybe it could generate a holographic image that would cause the target to aggro on the image instead of you, thus acting as a "tank" while taking no damage for the duration of the image. Set the droid, get into position, activate the image, then start combat. Perhaps a 10-15 second life on it.

How about a spotter droid, send it out to 64m, that increases your range say to 100m ?

I would like to see a droid the puts out a smoke screen giving a cover bonus.

A droid that is loadable with crates of traps and uses those when it fires. The paracrine traps are great for keeping animals at range.

The weapon repair droid is a must as well.

How about a droid for pvp.

When a rifle man is in cover and uses conceal the rifleman is hidden on the radar but the droid shows up instead.

The rifleman stays hidden until the droid is destroyed or disabled. (providing he doesnt botch a shot)
