/agree SS2 is MUCH better. With SS2, I outdamaged a commando, a swordsman, and 2 rifleman using headshot3.One of them got pretty ticked that I stole the loot from them since they were all grouped and I was solo.
around 80-85% of a commandoes damage does not vount toward lootrights on high end mobvs if they use a flamethrower.
Commandos could very well be the biggest anti-krayters except for the fact that their fire dot does not count toward looting rights. They can lay on 4 dots, switch flamers to a new onelay on four more and then switch to another flamer and do it again for 4 more. (most dots I have every seen by a commando was 12 fire dots.) 15k+ flame ticks on ancients does even them in pretty fast.
One thing we are forgetting here is that it is rude to kill steal - if someone else starts the fight with a group we should be willing to move on rather then kill steal. Just because we can does not mean we should. Otoh - if they try to kill steal from you -GO NUTS and blow em to shreds
I know the dt trick, ever seen a krayt die with over 125k WOUNDS? with there dot, most commandoes can out dps everyone but Master saber jedi. Its just that they get KS becuase there dots dobn't count toward loot rights, unlike CM's.

Why is strafe shot 2 more preferred over head shot 3? I got as far as head shot 3, and never used strafe shot two, but looking at the description it would seem it isn't all too powerful. Could anyone explain, pelase?
Thanks in advance,

It depends.
If there are multiple targets than SS2 is usually better as it can hit each target in the cone.
On single targets though MS is actually better in most cases. Especially if using a T21 and not speed capped. As HS has a much lower delay mod.
The hit location breakdown appears to be 3:2:1 . So you have a 50% of Health, 33% of Action, and 17% Mind.
In MOBs their HAM are about even so SS2 is a good choice since it's very high damage can make up for the damage spreading over the three bars. And since the bars are about even it doesn't really matter which one you take down. In PvP people tend to have lower Mind which means MS can be very effective.
