Thread: You convinced us
What kind of thread can I start to make this issue matter for me on Bria? It's been nearly 2 months and the T21 is still a mythological weapon people talk about, but can never have on my server. Please look into putting the resources on Bria that are needed to make this thing?
I agree that AR3 is the way to go, and I think that as far as the dps goes that misses will be the same for both laser and T21 unless there is some crazy ideal range thing going on that isn't showing in the numbers, so figure that AR difference in there and just make sure the Elite weapon is better than the General one and there will be no room for complaint. HAM costs are what balance our ability to hit an unhealable pool, so I can live with limited ability to sustain fire, just don't make it too far handicapped and it will balance the issues.
I think that if carbine/pistol were as limited to there prospective ranges that things would be fairly squared away, as Rifle seems to work as intended: I can hit great from long range but have a hard time getting that barrel around at close range. From cover I am deadly but once spotted things get a little sticky. In my opinion ultimate balance is not as important for enjoyable play as things making sense, as anyone can take on whatever they feel is the best proffesion. As long as it iswithin the spirit of what a proffesion should be like, let it be "better". Maybe it should be better in some regards.

I am also on Bria, been waiting since release for a T-21 to come out. I hate waiting, I just hope soon we can get them here. Even in its nerfed state, I want something besides my laser. ![]()

Holo, changing the AR back to heavy while leaving the damage stat reduced is exactly the right way to rebalance the T21.
I salute the Devs for taking action on this issue.
The re-un-nerfing of the T21 is a great thing, yes. Do they need to fix AP so that it works on unarmored targets and factional targets? Yes. Will they? I **edit** sure hope so, now that all guns have the AP listed on them and it's a big deal.
So I am glad Holo took note and made some changes. But this does NOT fix the Rifleman, just the T21. We all need to remember that.
On the other hand, it does prove that if we can get the Devs to look at the WHOLE picture, the total Rifleman Scenario and not just a brief comparison of one damage calculation to another, that they will see what we are complaining (ever so dilligently) about.
I see so many people complaining it's sickening. It's a massive game, its very very detailed, its very new. All in all most things work very well and in case no one noticed the server cashes/problems have been vitually eliminated. Thats no small thing.

I dont know what you all are talking about, the DLT20 is the best rifle in the game.
Can we start a discussion to compare rifleman with DLT20s vs pistoleers and carbineers please?
