I used to be a sniper in beta and apparently Surprise Shot seems to do nothing for me either, Got the same problem as you. Was using DLT20 at that time

ok I just trained in expert sniping accuracy earlier today. I got surprise shot (having no clue in the world what it would do seeing as their description just says how to use it) and it doesn't work!! I use a dlt20a and it tells me that I can't use my weapon to perform the shot. Maybe its some advanced thing where you need a laser rifle/sg/t21?? or maybe its simply just a bug. I tried the attack in all postures and both under cover and not. Does anyone have any clue as to what my problem is or what this attack does? Maybe someone who was a rifleman in beta?

Guess what? It was broken. So we fixed it. And it should no longer remove the cover state.

Wow... I'm starting to be won back over to the class. 2 fixes in one day is pretty amazing given the history. Thanks... I'm going to try it out ASAP.

while in cover state its the style you use. Since in cover state you will notice you cant use other styles. (IE Head Shot)
