Pro: Can deal damage that is impossible (very very rarely) to heal.

Con: 2.5x damage to melee, and warping bugs.

Cons: too numerous to mention.

Pros: none that can't be completely outdone by other professions.

Seriously. You spend weeks being next to worthless, using cheesy DoT/kite methods to kill anything, dying constantly. Then at master you are about equal in PvE to a lot of other profs, but you are still a laughing stock in PvP.

Peanute gallery, please save me from your newbie killing exploits in anchorhead...

Antimike you have just entered the NERF zone. It should'nt take you long to realize that most people here cry more about being a Rifleman then all the other professions combined. Sad part about it, Rifleman is a very strong profession, it is just not a stand alone one. Hence why it only costs 93 points to Master, most people dont seem to grasp that.

Pros: Massive damage capability, pretty much the only profession that can still one shot others in PvP regularly.

Cons: Think of Feast or Famine, that is the Rifleman. In PvP if we miss a shot we are in big trouble. We are the only class that relies heavlyon how the dice is rolled when it comes to hits, and damage. We can look like Gods one secound and look like scrubs the next.

Pro - Massive AE damage, and AE Dizzy, and Unhealable Damage.

We assist someone with AE kd next patch, and were very useful. Becuase when you get knocked down dizzy, you dont get up for a good 15-30 seconds, depending on your defense skills.

Con - Melee owns us, and no knockdown, and mind drain.

What are you talking about? Rifleman takes same amount of skill points to master as every other fighting skill(ranged weapons and melee).

dont worry about silverlobo, he is a master rifleman.

Its bascially been said by all of the master rifleman, that yes, it does suck while you are a novice rifleman, but when you finally make master, then all is good.

I've got three Rifleman boxes (Sniping 1,Counter-Sniping 1,Intermediate Rifle Special Abilities 1). Maybe I'm just lucky or something, but I cut through people and monsters like butter. I use two weapons, Laser Rifle and Spraystick. My Laser Rifle is (37-601 Damage , 3.7 Speed). My spraystick is crappy damage, but 1.7 attack speed.

I solo red monsters all day now with little to no down time. I rarely lose a one-on-one PVP battle (I choose my combat very wisely, and I'm not afraid or embarassed to run).

I think people who complain about rifleman simply don't know how to play one.

Here's a hint:

Oh, and I forgot to mention one thing, and I really almost hate to mention it, because I don't think very many people take advantage of it.

I have a very important macro that I use when I enter pvp now, and it has made a HUGE, MASSIVE difference in my kills:deaths ratio. All the macro does is put on 4 pieces of good quality composite (not the 150k a piece stuff, just normal 30-38% resist stuff), and it also eats/uses a Muon Gold spice. With this composite and spice combo, I can lay at 64m and fire off HS2 all freaking day. I've laid on the outskirts of a big fight and killed 15-20 people before running out of mind. I don't get many DB's that way, but hey, FP are easy to come by.

So, WEAR ARMOR IN PVP.

USE SPICE IN PVP.

If you don't, don't be suprised when you get owned.

I get like ALL the DBs in most pvp fights. Sniper shot is all powerful with eithera spraystick, or once yer master you shoot so fast with anything it doesn't matter.

now that i think about it, i can DB someone before they hit the ground. You know how they do that animation for flying off their feet and landing on their back. Ya, they're DB'd before they hit the ground.

True, I don't have Sniper Shot yet. May not ever I dunno, I seem powerful enough right now. I can deffinately see how that would help rack up the FP though
