Equip your most acurate rifle. Try to keep your distance. Stims. lotta stims. make sure you have a knockdown resistance and alot of it. Land as many stats as you can. Once there force is gone they are totally and uterally screwed.

It's still gonna be hard though. A light saber can still slice you in halflike nothing as a straight rifleman. Even if you are staying at kite distancethere is two commands you still need to worry about.../forcerun and /saberthrow....both can ruin your day while trying to kite them. The reason melee is so much better then ranged for jedi huntingis 3 reasons.
-Jedi block many many ranged shots.
-Melee professions get melee mitigation.
-Melee professions get melee toughness which act's like armor....even to lightsaber.
That is why TKM's are better then other melee professions for jedi hunting. They get melee mitigation 3, they have the highest melee toughness, they are speed capped no matter what, they can target any pool, and they can land every state in the game.

Killing a Jedi as just a straight out Rifleman would be EXTREMLEY difficult, it's helpful to have another Prof. like TKM.

no ya don't need buddies. People make jedi so over ratted if anything there under powered. If ya know what ya doing and can keep him intimidated and stuned the guy is done simple as that.

A high strength, high potency Fire DoT rifle would be the best way for a Rifleman to do it I think

Accuracy doesn't raise your chance at beating the 85% saberblock. Each shot is randomly rolled against the 85%. It just makes it harder to completely miss the Jedi.
Stun doesn't affect saberblock. I works on regular melee templates but not Jedi.
Both of these are big complaints in the BH community right now along with many of the other little annoying things. I just hope that when LucasArts takes over they'll fix all of this.

And how does a Rifleman keep a Jedi intimidated solo? Considering we don't have that ability? Yes, I know its available at Novice Brawler... but some of us don't have skill points to spare. My final template: Master Ranger (including Master Scout obviously)/Master Rifleman/Medic 0100. At least that's my combat template, I might swap out medic for entertainer for RP purposes... 100 credits isn't that much.
