Thread: For us to be nukers...........

Head shot's Damage multiplyer needs to be bumped up past Critical shot, but have a longer delay


-OR-



Our Rifles Damage needs to be bump up 20%-40% but have 30%-50% speed penelty or a much higher action cost (these are just numbers I pulled outta me arse, but you get the idea).



These suggestions are based on the definition of a nuker, front loaded damage but weak in the Damage Over Time......

The action costs on rifles are already rediculous. I spend most of pvp at or around 0% action.

This very much is intentional - part of the nuker role. Historically in the precu game - prebuff we could do huge hits but spend our ham so fast we could shoot 3-4 shots and then have to rest to regen. This was the drawback to our huge damage. We have just returned to that but with faster regen and smaller damage multiple

Then what are we?



A add on to BH/Pistoleer/carbine so they can hit 64m?



And if nerf the cybernetic arms so onl;y carbs and pistols can use the range bonus, then everyone will be going Carb/Pistol and dropping rifleman.

Hate to admit it,


and that is all I am using rifles for, the added accuracy and improved head shot/sniper shotor 4XXX. The rest is carbine and smuggler.

Nothing wrong with it......



That's the way the new system works, mix and match skills. I just wish we had Nuker skills that were really useful.

I wanted to be a rifleman when I first started this game almost a year ago, mostly for the (Sniper) title. But I loved every bit of the profession to bits. When I had to drop to rifles 4443 in order to respec on BH and then use my stored rifle xp to get it back I felt naked for those few minutes


I just love rifleman to bits, and with the right equipment and support template it's still a killer!

I just think we should get a cooler role icon the "adv Ranged" I was thinking a picture of a mushroom cloud and we could be a "Nuker"

I'm not so sure that were not Nukers... When wedid the Katarn the other night, I deltover 4,900 points of damage in 3 attacksdurning the 1st 7 seconds of the fight. My damage fell off after that, but I was still the heavy hitter of the fight. Others were getting more sustained DPS, but no one came close to the burst of damage I opened up with.
