Thread: lack of faith in Riflemen correspondent
Aldeon although quite knowledgeable in the field of Riflemen doesnt qualify for the correspondent position. most of his posts refer to us living with the bugs that plague our class. He dont see him pushing much a fix on the AR for T21s, hell he didnt even know a laser rifle did energy dmg. having to use a DLT20a to get to master Riflemen? doesnt that tell you something? maybe this class needs some work on its weapons if you need to use that piece of imperial designed garbage. Oh and thats F'ing great that concealment line offers us basically nothing as you so stated in your "Tips fo riflemen post". Maybe you push for them to fix that... i wonder how surprise shot works? since i cant use it cause its still bugged. But no our correspondent rather Bicker about how AR is not working yet laser rifle happens to say MEDIUM AR.... and has been documented that it DOES work. Hell even i notice i do more dmg on armored targets with my laser then my T21 when fighting a AT-ST. Aldeon i dont mean to flame ya, you been trying your best i just dont think any ONE person can solve all the Riflemen problems but at least Tekdragon knows a Laser rifle does energy dmg and a jawa does heat and sounds alot more AGRESSIVE at seeing this class FIXED. please logical responses only im merely stating my opinion and you can either agree or disagree and move on.

Disagree, I think AldeonAvardulin is doing a fine job.
I think it is more of a case of the devs not responding to Aldeon than him not trying to get us fixed. Just go and look at the 11 page thread on the discussion board. Aldeon can bitch all he wants, if the Devs arn't listening it won't do any good at all.
Having a go at our Correspondent because he doesn't go around shouting "f1x m3 n0w b!@tch!" is lame. I'd rather have someone who posts well thought out options to fix us.
Blaming him for not having the resources on his server to make laser / t21 has to be the most pathetic things I've heard in a while. So he should move server JUST because you want him to use a laser rifle to level with?
Stop blaming him for problems that are the fault of SOE, if you don't like it go and complain at the SOE Devs not Aldeon.

So, you're blaming our correspondent for our skills not working? Brilliant...
He has a lot to do, and he has to try to please everyone. Did you see the threads about him asking people what they wanted in his report? Give him a break...
AldeonAvardulin has my FULL support. I have been more than pleased with the way he has handled the correspondant position. You cannot fault him for circumstances that he has no control over (such as resource shifs etc).

Given that Techdragon admited that he was wrong and AA was right all along, your post is comical.
I would just like to say 3 things.
1. I dont want the job. I just want our personal correspondent to get a bit more asseritive.
2. I was never wrong about the AP issue. Aldeon said T-21 being broke wasnt a problem (litterally, he said that) due to AR issues. I proved it WAS an issue because it would improve PvE against armored and unarmored monsters. I then tried to prove it was necesary because it would improve PvP against armored and unarmored PC's. Turns out it only gives bonuses to armored PC's due to unarmored bug. Therefore, 3/4 of my argument was succesful (9/10 if you look at it from whats important or not). I was mistake on one FACET of the discussion, but overall I was correct. T-21 needs to be fixed.
3. I would appreciate it if Aldeon represented his proffesion a bit better. On the Melee Defence issue he doesnt represent us at all. He even admits hes representing swordsman. Additionally, to try and prove HIS point he MADE UP information on melee defence. 2 pages of complete arguing and controversy later, he finally admitted he made up all the info to try and win support for his side (despite the fact that more than 75% voted on the 80+ post to get rid of meleeD, and despite the face that he says he represents US, not his opinions).
