the best thing was that one has a speed of 4.3 lol
i used 50+ and 60+ dmg tissues too...i almost started crying...lol..
4.3 speed 453 dmg
4.8 speed 459 dmg
at least no one will need to be capped with those lol...what a waste...
anyone got any horror stories of slicing as well?

Well about to get a couple of T21s made - not hopeful.
5 DE-10's sliced, all with 70-90+ Damage Tissues, all but one were speed sliced and the damage slice was 20%
Hmmm, I am pistol speed capped and then some.... so no benefit to me at all

How about 7 Nym VKs (3 of them +24). One damage slice. 20%.
I've got 28 of them to get sliced tonight, I hope it goes a bit better...

My worstslicing experience was with a couple of acklay powerhammers. I had two of them with base damage of 581, and they both were speed sliced... to add injury to insult the speed slices were 18% and 14%. Then again, I have a long history of bad slices. I once bought a crate of 25 T-21's with a max damage of 410 to be sliced. I got two damage slices, the best one only being 21%, and this was a Master Smuggler slicing.

i've slice over 10 rifles with 80+ tissues and not once have i gotten a damn damage slice!!!

In the smuggler forum they talk of the Krayt Curse. It appears (and could be a anomally ) that when a weapon has a Krayt tissue in it that the very rarely get damage slices on them now.

My krayt t21 with +57 tissues..23% speed
Prenerf krayt fwg5 +40 tissues...19% speed
LVA 725 max damage...21% speed
Power hammer +132/170 acklay bones... 27% speed
Jawa rifle +96 tissues...25% speed
and finally..2nd jawa made outta those +96....28 damage!!! wooo
now its 5.1 162-417
took my streak long enuff to end =(

I was very pleased with the DXR-6b Tenloss Distruptor Rifle I had made today with damage 60 tissues. It got a 28% Damage slice and went to 701 max damage with a 32% max damage powerup. Thanks to Matso Ducati for crafting it and slicing it so well.

Granted these aren’t horrible in the least but last week after publish 13 went live I sliced a guild mate's T21 that had +50 tissues added to it and was able to get a damage slice of 30% on it which tossed the min/max damage to 275 - 600 and pup'd for 33.3% and it's a solid 800 max damage. In that same night he damage sliced a legendary T21 bumping up the max damage to 2435 (un-pup'd), two krayted Jawa's, several VKs, and a krayted laser carbine to top off its max at 509. What's really odd is that the account I have for my slicer was performing more damage slices (and good quality) than what he has for the past 14 months. I'm reluctant to log him back in as I fear this was an astonishing night for slicing and he's now hit the peak of slicing for his career.

as I said... more of an anomaly then a reality but it was mentioned in the smuggler forums as a possible side-effect of krayt tissues.

ya, I have always felt that Krayt tissues are best used on Pistols as 40 damage makes a bigger difference to them

It's not about how good you can get a pistol.
It's about how much damage you can add to a Rifle.
