Thread: We are about to be royally screwed!!!! Attention Attention

We don't know yet. Several possibilities have been discussed. I've participated in discussions about:



  • letting squad leaders heal it
  • letting entertainers heal it in the field
  • letting medics heal it, but take mind wounds
  • letting someone heal it but slowly, so they have to stand next to the healee for a substantial amount of time (and need covered, etc)
  • adding a new camp type that only heals mind pool

I'm sure there's even more ideas floating around.

Boy this is really getting me steamed as I think about it. Almost all pets hit health, so they are not as useful to us. Now they are going to make our only so called advantage be negated. If they do this they might as well change our damage to health so we are useful in groups and with the pets PVE. Might as well just change all of our exp to pistol also, since there will be no reason to be a rifleman.

As a Pistoleer and Doctor, I would hate to see this happen. No one should ever be able to heal mind. Ever.Nuff said.

IF they do something like this, they will obviously have to do something to balance out the Rifleman aspect. Being able to hit a non-healable pool is supposed to be our only real advantage. As it stands, that 'ability' is as much a disadvantage because of the massive HAM costs on our top weapons.

As I said, they will clearly have to give some other sort of advantage to Rifleman, and who knows, it would probably be better then it is now.

Also, if they do institute some kind of mind healing, hope that they choose the camp option. It's the least damaging to Rifleman(and helps out Rangers )

Of course it is a bit early to be jumping to conclusions...

Also:

If they choose a 'slow-heal' way, it would probably help us a lot. In PVP it would be too slow to really help anybody in a hurry, but in PVE it would work to a massive advantage for us.

Think, you're shooting Snorbals or the like. You're Mind HAM is getting low as usual, but wait! There's an entertainer(or medic or whatever) in the group that can heal that mind HAM that you really need.

It could be great...as long as it's not in any way fast or instantaneous.

Guys non of it matters.


At master rifleman we are uber, and nothing can they can do to rifleman can make them un-uber once you are a master rifleman.


Just ask your team lead.



All his BS and claiming about how awesome rifleman are gonna do nothing but get yer asses nerfed and nerfed trust me. You have seen it already.



And don't say he has NOTHING to do with it because just about every post he makes is pro-nerf rifleman.

What they need to do is introduce a 'psychiatrist' profession with a pharmaceutical tree where they can craft and prescribe things like ritalin, prozac and other helpful mind drugs.

egad, that would suck, but oh well whatever happens happens, guess you just have to weather it. Although once you get higher up the rifleman tree you'll learn that HS and MS are not close to as good as flurry 2 and conceal, etc

A lawyer profession! Like a bounty hunter only they take peoples money instead of killing them! Great money sink too!
