i dont know why you picked rifleman, personally i picked it for the concealment / sneak / cover abilities and i am fairly happy.
i can effectively solo on endor killing some critters that others need a 10-20 people group with mad numbers of pets to take down and did so. in fact thats how i just got my sniper title. so while we may lack in the instakill department, we certainly make up in the other areas.
and lets see the same commando / bh kill something with 30k+ HAM same as i do. i guarantee they will not survive regardless of their gear and tactics while i take out the target wearing just clothing and my laserrifle.
personally i cant even wait until i get the T21. i also got a kickass high end jawa rifle for stun dmg and a SG82 for cold type dmg.
granted it takes us a little longer to bring things down, but its a great trade off for being able to bring down things that others cant at all.
I picked rifleman to be a sniper....guess what, thereare no snipersin this game due to radar and a 64m limit (roughly) to range. If sony ever impiments anything that alows us to actually be stealthy and snipe targets, I may come back.....until then.
So you pick the class to be a sniper when it is quite clear that everyone has a 64 meter limit, and no such thing as stealth. You stay with rifle in the hope that if you cry loud enough SOE will here yourcry foruberness and make it so. So did I pretty much sum up your waste of a post?

yes we all know you just want the rifleman to be a carbineer with a slightly larger gun Lobo...the quality of your posts is decreasing somewhat these days. Its not entirely clear that everyone has a 64m limit when you first start playing this game - not everyone had access to the beta to work out the ins and outs of all the classes. The impression fromclassdescriptionsthat I got was that rifles have the longest range - though everyone rapidly finds out this is not the case.
why did you go for rifleman btw? surely carb would have been more up your street? just curious. Just think you could have got Carbineer and the BH carb line.. they have AOE specials too i believe. And why are you so derogatory towards everyone whos view of what riflemen should be differs from yours?
personally I don't understand why riflemenhave AoE skills at all. Ist that what the carbineer is for? And why does any class have AoE attacks except for carbineer, combat medic,melee, and commando?
Pistols are good strafing, I guess, but if they DO have AoE attacks they should be limited to 15m or whatever the commando has.
Commando's finally have their class the way they like it. Big power, itty bitty accuracy. Hey, if someone is willing to spend a few thousand credits firing a rocket at me, I may get pissed that they one-shot me, but at least I'll have the satisfaction that they lost money to kill me...
Melee are just sad. With them losing their KD andposture changeattacks, they're even worse. They just need some lov'n from the devs like we do.
BH should NOT have AoE attacks. After all, they're BOUNTY hunters. They go after ONE target, and one target only. They should be able to attack any bar, health, action, or mind, but they should NOT be more powerful than a pistoleer, carbineer, or rifleman in attackingany three. They are not masters of their particular branch. They are just good at hunting down a target and either killing them or bringing them in. However, the bounty hunter should have unique weapons, like they already do. This will allow them to use any type of weapon that their target is weak against. Maybe they should have a skill that will allow them to know which weapon to use against a particular target? Also, I think that if they attack a certain bar, they should also have to expel bar in that particular branch. So if they do eye shot, they should have to use extra mind to do it with. This way they can't just eye-shot riflemen all the time and not pay for it.
Riflemen, they should be good at taking out any bar on any ONE target, but excel at attacking the mind bar. Health attack, Action attack, Mind attack. I would be fine with doing less damage than a pistoleer in a Health attack, and a carbineer in an action attack. Maybe give us health shot1 and action shot1 instead of our AoE skills. Or maybe give us something inbetween the shot1 and shot2 for health and action attacks?
