Crazy huh, damage dealers and docs pulling away from the tanks.
Between stopping shot, underhanded shot, and snare, they have a hard time getting within 35 meters of me, and in the rare lag spike, 1200+ stims, burst run, and ruby bliel are very, very useful.
For the record, your loyal GRA members had been bringingup the fact thatthe Hate system breaks the profession rolessince the CUfirst hitbeta. If they would ever increase the Hate build on the actual tanker professions, the Hate system might work. If they don't then, well, you'll be burning through armor like madonlarge hunts. Hmm, make that leggings and helmets, chest plates don't seem to take nearly as many hits as they used to.

Speaking of armor. "Above Post" Is anyone else killing there armor when they try to fix it? I got a full set of armor 5 days ago and its taken a heavy pounding in the myyydril cave, When most of it got about 50% health I used a 99.9% eff tool on it and2 parts died then I gave the other parts to my armorsmtih and 2 of them died also.
If this keeps up Im going to be a suit a week grinder
What I do in this instance is place my shots carefully. I let the main group (5-7 people) attack theMOB and I sit 60-65M out popping a shipershot 1 time. Usually when I hit the MOB he tries to come after me but the rest of the group regains aggro. I snipershot again and usually that takes care of any MOB. With a good group I will only need to fire once per MOB.
If for some reason a MOB gets to me firearm strike works 90% of the time and the group jumps on him.
Yep, the hate system is stacked pretty heavily against us right now. With Master Rilfeman & some Carbines, even a Master Saber/Master Defender using Dominate Mind and his best hits can't keep the critters from charging out after me if I actually open up with some real attacks on the good gun. I've taken to carrying a weaker gun just for sandbagging so that I can still set states & score my hits without drawing the bulk of the agro from the tanks; either that or I just join the brawlers in the mosh pit so that I can score the bighits without pulling from the so called Tanks. I may turn into a full time job for the medic of the group, but the critters start falling at a rapid pace that way.
Ackehece, in a previous thread you mentioned that the devs are aware of this situatuation and they are looking to correct the problem. Any updates? If not, I might need to think about switching to Carbiner w/ Rifles, so that I can get out of my Recon armor and into a set of battle armor.

yeah, this system is kind of whack
For example. Jedi Defenders have a Taunt command, because Defenders are tanks, They can force mobs on them pretty easily, I'm defender and do this to kill high level mobs all the time, have a rifleman in the distance, prone, firing away, I make the first attack on the target, Taunt a couple times throughout the fight
Only people that can do this in the regular professions are Swordsman, only problem is that swordman aren't tanks according to the little chart the devs have. Taunt needs to be moved to pikeman or TK. Then then you can group with them, they can taunt and tank without much of a problem
