They are the same rifle now except the Adv Laser Rifle only takes 4 tissues while a t21 takes 6...use the other 2 tissues for 2 uber pistols to make some of the creds back

and accuracy and you don't need to be a master rifleman to use one
This is a major problem for us - I would build the T-21 as it will eventually be the supreme rifle again.
i though still use my Krayt T21, used 183 tissues and still like the look and sound better.
Like a poster said though, can make a ALR and use the other 2 tissues to get some money from the deal,
its a preference thing.

Don't change my damn words and quoting it as I say it.
My feeling is that it is ridiculous how the T21, a Master certified Master Rifleman weapon, is inferior to a non-Master Rifleman Rifle.
Also, Rifleman suffers the same bit of a problem as the other ranged professions: There's so much General Ranged Mods out there that non-XXX ranged characters can be just as effective with their trademark weapons. Example: Master Carbineer + Master Pistoleer (without ANY Rifle boxes) is just as or, IMO, more effective in Rifle usage than Master Rifleman. I've tried this template, and you'll be surprised how good it is with Rifles.
I stick to the T21 out of 2 things:
* It is the MASTER Rifleman's certified weapon. People may not see your M.Rifleman tag, depending on all the clutter. But when people see and hear the T21 go off, there is no doubt who the true Rifleman is.
* It is a rebellion of sorts in the way of things right now. EVERYONE, that has CL54 or higher and wants to use a Rifle, has the mighty ALR. Even Master Rifleman have joined the ranks of toons that have not one Rifle box, not even from the Novice Marksman-related line. I don't blame them... it is a powerful weapon. But I don't wish to wh@re out either.

I don't care what is "widely" considered to be the best weapon. T21's have a higher min damage than ALR's. The min damage is ALL that counts against def stackers and MDef jedi.
see badgemakers guide to pistol making, slicing and pupping for some really good hints that translate well into rifle's.
I've been using a crafted trando rifle. It is next to silent and in pvp i don't think most people realize they are being shot until they are dead. the T21 is too noisy and draws unwanted attention in battles. My trando has same stats as a high end ALR, but with a 30% wound chance.
oh..and it looks kinda like an AK-47....a selling point in itself...
