All of this is floating on the new systems coming. I'll do my best to get what is best for our profession, including those PMs about new weapons.

All I can say is this, if we get a speed cap-others should get a damage cap orat the very least a range cap.


I really think were gonna be gettin a speed cap though and that scares me.

if we get a speed cap..our damages should increase, rifleman shouldnt have to kite..he's a sniper, he should lay prone and shoot ya between the eyes

we can live with a speed cap, but our range better go to 75, and those pistols better not be able to hit the broad side of a barn at 55m

I dont think a 2 sec spd cap would be that big of a deal. Even with my very nice spd sliced krayt lazer with 4.1 spd ( has a stock) i still cant fire at the spd cap on SS2 without master marksman so caping us at 2 sec with pistol at .5 (which they would only hit witha spd slice on autofire anyhow) leaving carbines at 1sec (never get clost to it with a measly +60spd for master) and caping us a 2 sec with increased damage that they say will accompany the new spds we will still be the only people to fire at the spd cap except BHs dabling in pistoleer. As long as they increase the damage as they claim

please push for a rifle for each kind of damage



tusken = kinetic


t21 = blast


laser = energy


sg82 = cold (working but it really needs a ap rating)


e11 rifle = heat


jawa = stun (working leave as is )


beam rifle = acid


new rifle = restraint


and if they even hint at capping our speed at master thenpushfor a big damage bonus to compensate.


also push for take cover to give us good defense mods and to make sniper shot do something worth while.


we are finnally working now. dont let them break us

Beam rifle isn't a "Rifleman" rifle is it?

Spraystick should be ACID.

ooops i knew i forgot one .... yeah the beam rifle is unusable at the moment but it is a rifle and gives rifle xp...



so no reason why it can not be made to be used by us ...



if the spraystick goes acid it also needs a ap rating ...


basicly a gun with a ap rating for each damage type is what i am gunning for.

i think that a sniper should be abel to kill in one hit


proply doing around 10k dam a shot but have a speed cap of around 3.6 sound far


no sniper can line a pefect hed shot up in 1 sec give him a few secs



ps beam rifel is a commando wep and needs to go back to commando


its the commando prayer that it becoums there LLC that has ap1 and does blast dam and when useing speceals it shoots out a laser baem that looks asom


i might not be a commando any more but i still have a soft spoot for them (becous im a milatary man )

Watching this 3sec speed cap issue with great interest.I wonder if pistoleers will be damage capped to under 1500k per special PvE? or if commandos will get range capped with their flamers to 35m and under? nah.. probably not. Be very interesting to see what the devs decide.. hopefully with the past SWG experience under their belt they might come up with a combat model that differentiates the wep types a bit more.. and throws more of a strategic element into the mix.


Rather than the current... get buffed.. get krayt weps.. spam your best special.. which is what the current combat system boils down to.


Here's hoping for good stuff in the new year.

id like to see our range get further! our range should be alot further than any other prof, 75 sounds good

Speed cap ONLY if we get range and damage. I mean scary damage, not what they did to us with the T21. Fix that too, btw.


If we don't get those two things, say no to increased speed cap.
