Solo I outdamaged a group of over 7 players today (with pets). They whined and bitched and moaned that my atst was a cheating exploiting POS. They wouldnt listen when i told em these dragons were dying by mind attacks which an atst doesnt do. So i put my atst away and we all went after a giant canyon krayt. 2 minutes later its dead by mind and its health ham is still at half. They all kissed my as$ and went away. I expect we'll be hearing some nerf crys in the next months.

Just how did you do that and kept it from chewing you to bits after shot 3?

i send a mauler in first, hes healable. Problem with maulers is they are chicken $hit and run away into other agroes more often than not. Thats where the atst comes in. I stand behind it because it never budges. If my mauler runs off and hides in a hole somewhere, im still safe. The at wont kil the dragon, just keeps me alive. In the situation described, there were so many maulers and pets in that group of 7 I was completely safe without my atst, i just stood 60 meters away

I have done exaclty this before to a group who were trying to use there pathetic atsts to tank. I poped him with a 1800 MS 2 and a 1500 MS 1 and HS3'd him to death(I was on Muon Gold). My group ended up taking our kill back and gettign loot rights.

That's why I don't use grauls, well besides they're too big that is. My Gaping Spider Hunter worked great on krayts. It didn't run until it was near dead, by then so was the krayt.

I've found that while pets may speed things up a lot, you can also do conceal shot, slow, and from my experience, extremely safe. If anyone decides to jump in on your kill, just unload some strafe shot 2s (assuming your master) then follow with regular attack until you have enough mind again to do more SS2, so farI havent lost any loot rights using this method, much more reliable than bleeding or burning if you want the loot. (who doesnt ) Easily out dmg any commando and the VAST majority of groups, the only thing you have to worry about are other master riflemen. You may see a lot of angry people screaming at you for out damaging them orsome flavor of the month commando CH whine that you stole their kill.

I don't HAVE a Mauler. Are you SURE that it's THIS class you speak of as being the most powerful? I sure as hell can't do that... I would look to another class as being the source of power

Totally agree.

While I think riflemen are at a pretty good stage right now I suspect you would have a lot of trouble taking that mob down without something standing in front of you soaking up the damage.

This is the exact role Isee riflemanplaying, usingtheir abilities to do large damage from behind a group of players. It's where rifle truly excels.

Rifle never allows himself to get close. Likea sniper we stay back and hide waiting for a good opertunity. And like na m-60 we lay down an hella lotta fire. But if we forced to we cna hold are own

Alot of times you can pop a krayt lair to bring out a second one which will aggro the one that is currently out....sometimes u need to send in the pet to start the aggro then u can call him back....then u stand back and bleed both dragons at the same time.

2 dragons for the price of one.
