Thread: New riflemen correspondent:
I would like to be the new correspondent for riflemen accross all servers. How do I get this? WHo do I have to talk to and bribe? I've been playing since early beta and know riflemen class very well, I think I'm qualified.

No offense intended, but I personally think others in this forum have done more work than yourself to help riflemen.
I would like to nominate Selfyn as our new correspondent. He seems to knows the class very well, is a regular contributer to these boards, especially with his work on Style damage multipliers. He's always willing to help novices out and I have never heard him attempt to call nerf on another class.
What do ya think? At any rate, I will follow any correspondent to the grave (repeatedly in our case) if they have what's best for us in mind. Balance.

Ok not really.. everyone who wanted to be a correspondant had to send a mail to the devs with thier gaming history, SWG experience, thoughts on the class they wanted to correspond for etc (i think this is the case anyway). Then the devs chose who they thought was the most suitable candidate (i think they did pretty good in Ald's case).
Should really be the same process for the new correspondant..
But as the devs are not really too good at listening to the correspondants.. (of the 3 reports Ald sent to them only 1 got any answers) I think the position is somewhat redundant anyway.. but heres hoping correspondants do actually still hold some sway over the evil nerf bunnies.

Same, I'd like to see Seflyn as our Correspondent. Based on the work he already has shown to our profession.

I feel the same way, no offense to anyone else who wants to be the correspondent. There are alot of good players/posters in our community though. Maybe Aldeon should make a voting thread with his suggestions for the position.

Aye.. he can start with a few suggestions.. anyone else could add their name to the list if they felt they could be a good correspondant.. and then the rest of us could pick and tear em to pieces trying to vote in the best candidate
I think any of these three would make fine correspondents:
Seflyn
Silverlobo
Noules000 (he still around?)
I was thinking Seflyn or Noulesalso. They are actual students of rifleman and I know they understand the ins and outs.
Galactic... I haven't seen enough of your posts (not your fault) to have a feel for you. However, the fact that you want the job is a good sign. I might vote for you just because you are brave enough to step forth and fight the hard fight.!
I also know that Sotaudi has become real interested in the profession, but he is fairly new to the boards and I don't have a feel for him yet either. But he appears to be very highly involved with the forums.
