Thread: Rifleman Template Advice For BH & High Level NPC

Im looking for some help from the Rifleman of SWG.
I'm looking to make my alt Master Rifleman and wanted the following skills:
BH (To be able to get missions)
Able to kite high level NPC.
Force Skills, I will be looking to adopt General Ranged Acc, General Ranged Speed, Melee Def & Ranged Def (16 Skill Points), I have none of these yet.
So the question is what template would work best to achieve this?

i see two choices:
M.BH, M.Rifles, 0304 pistoleer, all the rest on FS
this is good high acc, melee & ranged def, speed etc, can use rootbut limited on healing...
or
M.BH, M.Rifles, 4000 CM and 3 pts on FS ranged speed.
mmy personal favorite - no root and really only loosing a little accuracy - CM gives some Def. you can heal - 500-800pts (poss x2more post Patch 19) every 6 seconds ontop of noraml stim d's. you can heal so well and the skills you loose only drop your damage output by a minute ammount. who needs root when you can heal so well you cantank an anchient?

damn it does, just getting my last 2 in CM and as of yesterday afull set of +25s to all speeds, defences and accuracy! damn he's hot

The 2nd of these is what I have, and it rocks.

Is there still a template out there that can Kite all the time now root breaks on damage??
Smugglers concussion shot was very nice , 30secs root... but that break on damage now 
Any1 knows a templategood againtsHigh lvl mobs that can safely use root all the time??

Um, maybe my math is wrong, but from what I know of there isn't enough skill points to be a MBH, MRifleman, 4000 CM

your math is poor 
(only kidding) you can be a mbh mrifles 4 0 00 cm. Dont forget that you only need the rifle tree and the ranged support tree from marksman and only 4 0 0 0 scout and 0 4 0 0 medic as pre-requisits.

Yah - char builder I had said you needed Pistol IV in Marksman to get CM. Glad that isn't necessary. Think I may go this template myself as I'm not 100% happy with the 0304 Pistoleer template to go along with Mrifle and MBH.

The template I am working on is MCM/MR/3010 BH, no room for FS but a nice overall template for killin jedi.

I was healing myself for about1500 points roughlyevery 7 seconds. I was tanking 3 level 82 rontos while keeping the whole group healedbut I have a serious problem,now I have to keep an eye on my mind and action, lol.

Master Pistoleer
Smuggler 4034
CM 4004
This will give you daze shots, roots, and snares so kiting will your specialty, it will also give you some pretty good dots (remember that most of your attacks will break on damage including DOTs) and really nice heals if they do catch up with you, and 6 points left over for FS skills.

The pistoleer special, stopping shot, is a root that doesn't break on damage.
