What is best armor for the Rifleman (mind pool) ?

Anything that takes away from your Focus and Willpower is bad. If you wait till creatures or people jump you then you are dead in the water.

My suggestions for armor;

1) Find a Commando or BH wearing the composite armor, then stand their butts between you and your prey.
2) Learn Warningshot and have a pistol in hand or spraystick (recommended)

But if you really need armor then your best bet is Shield Generators. They do crap for melee but for ranged...
Plus they take nothing away from your mind substats. Just make sure you get a crate as they will not last long.

Hope this helps.

If you never want to hit a special, or put on a full set and hit the mindshot....You will fall faster than your foes...but if you put that on your friend and stand behind them then you will be set.

I wear composite and Ubese. Migrate secondary stats into focus and willpower to boost them, take from the action pool to do most of this. Now, if I'm in a good group that can keep most of the things off of me, then I dont use armor so that I can spam more specials. But, if I'm hunting game that will usually hit me I will don the armor. Or if my target is of the nature that shoots at me, then armor will save me way more often than it will hurt, like when doing faction missions or things of this nature. Sheild generators are very very nice, but a little costly and they dont last very long.

I wear composite boots and the marauder armor from the mission on Endor, all sliced, mostly for enc.No helmet, no bracersor gloves. Works pretty well.With or without Irely pretty heavily on muon.

Really depends what you are doing.

For PvP I wear composite, I have a macro setup for my main attacks that take the helmet off before firing a special, then puts it back on.

For PvE, advanced ubesse works fairly well if you dont have the money to replace composite all the time.

Being a Bothan makes it very hard to wear armor because of the hits on willpower and focus, but the suit I am wearing minus the helmet takes roughly 160 points. If I got a suit that was sliced for HAM I think I could get it down to 100-120.
