I think I'm gonna go Master rifle/TKA

The meditation line is very good they have dizzy and a PC when in close and a mind attack.

two hand swords looked good to but the meditation line in TKA is very good for rifleman I think.

Hi guys....I'm a soon to be rifleman (not quite to specialist, so still a newbie to the profession). I'm just curious as to what other professions you guys have to accomodate rilfeman. Right now I'm working on getting to fencer because I feel that having a melee profession in pve is very helpful...but what other kind of viable combos are out there?

I was a BH then turned to rifleman. I was going rifleman/swordsman but I liked the bleeding shot and eye shot from BH so much i decided to go master rifleman/Bh pistol. With this combo I can do 3 mind bleeds at once. Bleeding Shot, Mindshot 1, and Mindshot 2. And if the mob gets close i can pull out my nice scatter pistol and do a couple eye shots for the finish. This combo leave no room for anything else.

If you don't mind healing, go for combat medic with their ranged area poison attacks for each HAM bar.

Right now you can not go wrong with Rifleman/Doc. I will try to explain why (Someone who has spec'd this could probably do a better job explaining)

1. Buffs: I have seen this spec with 2400+ in Health and Action. I know you can buff sub stats also. This alows you to max your mind. Gives you a little more of a edge fighting rifleman and BH's.

2. Cure poison and disease. This is a biggy IMO. With the amount of DoT's being thrown around in a normal PvP fight this is priceless. Plus anyone that has had disease placed on them know how important it is to get that off ASAP.

3. Lastly you can heal.

anything that does mind-damage attacks stacks well:

BH - eyeshot and bleeding shot

TKA - has a head specific melee attack, and knockdowns

Combat Medic - Mind poison area attack

2H Swordsman - melee mind attacks, and area knockdowns

Rifleman/Medic/CH is what I am shooting for. I don't like taking damage, so I send in the pet. Thenfire away. I usually outdamage the pet and get full exp. Then medic stims to heal him back up. Would be nice to find a pet that does mind damage. But as long as the critters are not beating me to death, I am happy

Seems to me doctor and CH make the most sense.

CM and BH can do mind damage, which would stack with ours, but I've got to wonder, if I've got eyeshot, what in gods name do I even need with my rifle?

Mindshot might be a nice bonus, but I think there'd be better uses of my SP.

Doctors have those great buffs, and CH have those meat shields.

Rifleman and Dancer.

So when the mob warps next to me when i'm prone. I can tumble to stand and start dancing in hopes of frightening a mob into running away. Ever seen a Mon Calamari dance ?

Rifleman is my secondary profession, and it works well with my primary: Squad Leader.

I am rifleman/ch and I have medic skills with the points left over. Having CH while lvling rifle was a huge help. As far as pvp goes, my pets really don't help at all, I will put them on one person, they will usually run, and my pet goes missing, and I have no idea where the guy I was after or my pet is.

I have a question for everyone here who said combat medic or doctor...I have mind, focus, and willpower all maxed out and while I am fighting I always have like no mind pool left, how do you guys manage using your mind pool for both professions ? It really seems impossible in my eyes, without sitting down every time you kill someone. But, then how do you go and do raids, if you have to take a break to regen. your mind pool?

Yeah, I was going to go rifleman / combat medic, but then I remembered all the medic abilities use mind pool .. or do the disease delivery units use something else?
