in my eyes that doesnt matter since it is still 1/11th as effective as it is in a pistol

It doesnt matter how much more effective it is, adding the damage still helps.

This and the fact that it will require a minimum of 10 (11 if the WS does not have a run of kayt PBH's already) so finding a WS that is willing to craft one may not be that easy unless you provide the tissues (and even then they may see it as a waste and refuse because they can make 10 very nice pistols with that amount). I just hope these bonus components get moved ot a % increase so that rifles and carbines get an appropriate benefit, as currently pistols get the most from tissues and feeders.

I agree ever bit of dmg that we can get will help greatly, it just sucks that my T21 got a speed slice it jsut means that I now can double bleed quicker before switching to a Laser (until I hit the speed cap then the speed slice is really worthless).

**edit** guys, my freaking per nef is sliced for damage with 500 max damage 9.8 speed

new fwg5's are comming out with a damage slice of 390 and speed of 1.0 due to its componets. add a powerup on top of that and it out does our T-21 by HUGE amounts. not only is it more powerful than our T-21, but at novice levels, its 10 times faster.

I'm sorry Aldeon but I'm going to disagree with the firstpart of that, of course it matters how effective it is. Until tissue is changed to a percentage addition to damage, lower base damage guns will always receive a huge boost in effectiveness compared with higher damage weapons.

Am I the only one who finds the difficulty of crafting the nerfed T21 a bit extream?

Given some of the seriously dangerous Laser Rifles I've seem available these days I'd have to wonder how much could be done with a T21 that will never be investigated by Weaponsmiths given how hard they are to build.

Pity really.

Honestly, I'm itching to get myself a Krayt DLT20a. I have used just about every rifle, and have *5* of them assigned to quick keys for use in specific situations, but these days I tend to keep coming back to the old standby DLT. But, in those situations that call for a mobile cannon, I suppose a Krayt T21 would be your best bet... In any case, anybody know how many tissues the rifles other than the T21 take?

As a side question, anybody have stats on a high end E11? For some reason, nobody seems to make them on Flurry. I hear they have consistent damage at pretty low cost, similar to a DLT. If so, I'm intrigued as to why I never see them around...

bear in mind, that even though the tissues don't have serials anymore, you still need to match the stats to run them in a factory, as far as we know.

financially speaking, there's no point in making a krayt T21 compared to even a laser rifle, and there's no contest between the '21 and an fwg5. (unless you're supplying the tissues, and understand the risk, however small, of a crit fail *shudder*) Because the amount anyone would charge for the 11 tissues if the smith was supplying them would be astronomical.

I don't know if this is "high-end," but my (unsliced) Krayt E11 on Tempest is 85-190, 4.8 speed. Don't remember the HAM costs exactly, but they're something like 18/24/36 or in that range.

As a Weaponsmith i agree... for one i never do krayts except if they provide the tissues... haven't had the opportunity to play around with the new tissues yet... but i have a few people hunting for em for themselves... in the next few days we will find out about the un-serialed and if they will run through the factories or if this is another nerf to the rifleman...

as i run a rifleman on my other account i feel for ya
