I swear to god, I get asked this at LEAST five times a day.
What do I look like, a weaponsmith?
(Well, yeah, but that's my alt.)
What kind of random tells do you get?
and what kind of smart ass response do you give them?

Never got one like that. I did see someone asking around for a DLT20. I had a looted DLT20a with a poison DoT that I gave them. Then had to explain what a poison DoT was. 
As for random tells I got one saying " I see you are a Helper. Can you tip me some money ? ". I told him " I can help you run some missions for money. ". Their response was " No thanks, I'm logging off soon. "

Well, I use to be a master doc and then I got an alt and made him a master doc. I'd get ask the exact question, "can you buff?" and being a smart ass, i'd say yes. So they'd get all ready and act like I was going to buff them.......No, I said I can buff, not that I'm going to.

Had Master Smuggler tag up and was getting ready to log I get a tell, mind you I wasn't spaminng slicing ads or anything:

oh i wish i could remember them but i cant well i guess its my fault for running around with the ws over my head
although i do believe someone asked if they could get a fre krayt t21(or someother rifle)

haha I used to get that question alot, until recently... mastered BH, dropped it but the title stuck so now instead of people asking me for uber rifles, they ask for LLC's, Carbines, and pistols! wooot!

I usually don't get /tells about uber rifles. I guess people look at my bio and ask if I can......buff them, make them a heavy harvester, give them a mind buff (I was an ENTERTAINER, nothing more....lol), make them a swoop, ect.
My favorite of all time is.....
rylok says: canyou teach me pistol grips and stances 2?
Me: ummm, no. I'm not a pistoleer.
rylok: yes you are, your title is Gunner
Me: Gunner is a rifleman title.
rylok: No it's not! Gunner is the grips and stances title.
Me: check again. Gunner is a rifleman title
rylok: I'm reporting you for not training me
Me: did you eat alot of paint chips when you were a kid?
rylok: no, why?
Me: just trying to figure something out
rylok: teach me grips and stances 2
Me: I'm not a pistoleer. Does my weapon look like a pistol? (i was holding my T21)
rylok: just sent a harassment ticket on you.

I did just get asked if I had any spare rifles recently. The person said they just repaired theirs and it broke. I didn't have any "spares" on me at the time, so I didn't respond.
Anyway, you just gave me a great idea. The Kobola Bunker POI on Rori has magseal containers that often contain T21's and Rocket Launchers. The T21's down there are 11.0 speed and 305 max damage or somewhere around there. I should stock up on them and give them to people who need a "spare" rifle.

Kinda totally off topic, but how do you open a Magseal container? I got two opened by killing the boss but none of the others.

Me: Nope, im working on Marksman Rifles one

Me: Sooo, that means i cant use those weapons yet
Him: Well why dont you have them just incase
Me: Cant afford it
Him: Then sell me them

Me: Idont have any other rifle but a DLT20
Him: Is that any good?
Me: Nope, it sux, i cant afford anything else, and i dont have any certs either.
Him: Well, then go get your Rifleman tree up/
Me: Im in the process of that.
Him: Cool, can you teach me Rifles 4.
Me: Nope, dont have that, as i stated.
Him: Oh, me neither
Him: Hey, what other skills you have?
Me: Working on Novice Fencer
Him: Can they shoot rifles?
Me: No.
