Thread: What's the problem?

The whining has come down considerably compared to weeks/months ago. I would be flamed over and over again for stating the same as you but each day goes by one more person makes Master and says "I thought Rifleman sucked, but now that I am a Master it rules". The novices, where the majority of the complaining is coming from, need to understand that this game is balanced at Master, not Novice.
There will always be complaining, there will always be the few that just want a free ride, but as long aswehave peoplethat wont shut up in the face of flames and tell it how it really is Rifleman should stay a solid competitive profession.

I think the issue for me as a Rifleman (and yeah - I only have enough skill points to be 3/0/0/0, doh!) is tied to being a Wookiee. I go down in 1-2 shots in PvP, and from a pistoleer this usually takes 2 seconds. Also, while hunting, it eats away at the one bar that a doc can't buff, and I rarely bring a master dancer on Krayt hunts =)

im sorry but you either dont pvp or do it when you are in a large group against one person

Those are some low eye shots first of all, and secound of all with a T21 I have hit for 650+ (headshot 3) with plenty of 500's. With a Jawa rifle, yes a jawa rifle 350-680 Strafe 2's, with a laser braking 1200 is not a problem.
Problem HARPOON is you have issues in PvP and those issues have nothing to do with your profession.
You just stated the problem, man. The jump from 4/4/4/4 to master is HUGE. I expect/want/need some sort of a bonus at master, but not this much.
I want to say, "Wow, I'm a master."
Not, "What the hell profession was I playing before, because this is a whole new thing."

yeah, so you hit him for 500-600 with your T-21. Big deal, he is still alive, but you're not going to get a second shot off before you're dead, and even if you do you're going to miss because hes is a) moving b) runing right up to you and getting in your face c) YOU ARE BLINDED FROM THE INITIAL EYESHOT.
And do you realize that BHs have to be NO WHERE NEAR master BH (pistol 2) to own riflemen left and right? While a rifleman has to go master and get Strafe2 to even compete? And then if a CH sicks a guerreck on them they're still screwed, and they still die to eye shot all the time (ive been on these forums for a while)
And once you get master rifleman you're pretty much done. You dont need XP anymore, you dont group hunt anymore, you dont do missions for their XP value..all youhave left is PvP, but the BHs/CHs/Commandosare blasting through PvE with ease (unlike riflemen) and can still own you without being masters of their professions and are the main force in PvP.
Last night I made Master... Yay.....
I went to AH to celebrate and I rocked. I took down a TKA, 2 commando's and4 BH's. I died once in this time.
At this time I was silly and tried to repair my T21. Big mistake. It got destroyed 
I had a Jawa Rifle at the time. I just spammed 4-5 HS2 and its all over red rover. One Commando was a great battle and it lasted for ages. We were ducking in and out of buildings. It was such a good fight that I didn't DB him.
I have one bit of advise. "KEEP YOUR DISTANCE" while running at about 50m I garantee they will miss more often than you and they will become frustrated. Use their frustration as a weapon. When they are frustrated they will make a mistake. When they make a mistake pounce. I have finally figured out that we are not One hit wonders. We are the balls of the game.

4-5 HS2s and its all over? Only 4-5 HS2s? Wow. Was the target AFK?
SilverLobo lol...yep, so we get owned by pets, thats our limitation. You say each class has it's limitation.. please tell me what the advantages of rifleman is, and the limitations of BHs and CHs?
And if you're saying that rifleman are better than CHs/Commandos/BHs in PvP... then I think you're the one off base. Or you only PvP in groups where you outnumber the enemy and you never really get owned. Or you don't really PvP at all, and the last time you PvPed was 2 months ago when damage in PvP was at 100% so you could one or two shot people withheadshotsand commandos still sucked.
Not going to get another shot off, eh? Are you master? Have you seen how fast we shoot? I'll get another shot off and with 110? to accuracy....chances are I'll hit.
