I know this has been asked before but weapons are ever changing. So I was wondering if any wookies here use it or if they just ignore it in favor of the other rifles?

I use it all the time... with a good dmge slice it can be almost as high dmge as a laser without the really low min dmge. Plus its got a cool sound and beam color

and it has not AP, oh yeah that doesnt mean **edit** anymore. The bowcaster should be the best rifle in the game. Its should have stats like 600-1200, AS 10.0, like 80/80/80, AP3, blast and kenetic damage

Bowcaster = coolest weapon that is absoulutly useless

actually I agreed that the bowcaster was crap compared to other rifles UNTIL I hit master rifleman...(weapon speeds no longer factor)

unfortunately even at master its only AS GOOD as a reg laser rifle...(tighter variance, but no AP)

give it ap 2 and its easily the best rifle in the game, I think (I like the T21, but that HAM cost is just stoopid; even with a mind HAM pu AND muon the damned thing knocks me out lol)

a lot of people have suggested AP2 and blast dmg....that would totally rock and just MAYBE make it cool to be a Wookiee (oh, wait, i forgot, the devs HATE wookiees....oh, well, I can dream)

you guys are ridiculous. my bowcaster performs as well as any decent laser rifle. may laser rifle is 40-401, with slice and power up its speed is 3.0, thats my speed gun. my bowcaster with power up is 218-481, speed 5.5. thats my power gun-and it uses less HAM and has a better wound % for PVP--its around 25% wound. if i were a master weaponsmith, it would be closer to 30% wound. Ive never seen a laser rifle even approaches that I think because the HAM would be terrible if you use a scope (assuming u can on laser rifles)

the problem is, not to many people (except me) are putting the time into bowcasters that the masters are putting into the other guns as far as the best resouces and building them en masse to get a decent supply of nice slices.

Im not even gonna get into the stats on my Krayyt Bowcaster--it will make all you Wookiees cry and its not for sale.

I'll put it this way, I have hunted high and low for a master made bowcaster. I've yet to see one, all I can find are crap (DLT20 crap), if they are master made I wouldn't be surprised but either way I can't find one worth buying.

Yeah it should be a pretty good weapon, Chewbacca took out a speeder in what 2 shots? The thing needs some AP. Blast or kinetic, hell I'll take either, be another rifle I can use for the resists I run into. Though like it to be pushed to blast sowhen/if they fix the tusken and spraystick we have just another dmg type.

Though we've been complaining about it heavy the past 2 months and see what that has done so far.

Hell, give me a chest plate (hate torso shot), helmet (duh)and a better freaking bowcaster and I'll be a happy wookiee. Well and better mind stat limits.

unknown, you are not paying attention. my laser has a speed slice or it would be that damage range with power up. since i gota sweet speed slice, i put a speed power up on it and use it as my fast firing gun. i use the bowcaster to do more damage.

the laser is 401, +30% damage slice and its a 520, add another 33% power up and its a 680. 5.5 speed is about right for a base speed.
