Okay, I have been Master : Smuggler/Pistoleer/TKM for a little and it is pretty good in PvP but its getting boring,

I want to switch to rifles cause they are badass in PvP and they look bad ass when just holding them idoly.

So I want to keep Master Smuggler for RPing purposes and because they are going to revamp it.

How can I add Master Rifleman to Master Smuggler and still be pretty good in PvP?

I am Master Rifleman and Master Smuggler... been that way for over two months and I love it. But I don't understand your question. You seem to think Master Rifleman by itself is NOT good at PvP. You can do both and have just a FEW skill points left over. With my extra Skill points I keep some medic to heal myself, and then vary between artisan or scout for supplemental skills (surveying or terrain navigation).

I'm just not sure if it will still be that strong in PvP.

Like I doubt I will be able to killa TKM or a Master Fencer.

But I really want to do rifleman and keep smuggler.

My only combat skill is mrifle, the rest of my skillpoints are tied up in weaponsmith, merchant, and 2000 medic (for bleed heal). I do fine in PVP.

TKM is weak, they have crap damage output against buffed players in good composite and if you use BE-enhanced thakitillo (+95 defense vs knockdown) their KD only works like 1 time out of 20, and dizzy/KD is pretty much the only thing that makes TKM dangerous.

I've dueled TKA where I started in melee range and he opened with warcry, dizzy, kd before I got any shots off. I spammed stand until I got up, then killed him easily and had over 3/4 health left when he died.

Okay, well if I have Master Rifleman/Master Smuggler what should I put the rest of points into then?

Medic is nice for stopping bleeds and healing self, and scout is nice for improved runspeed on hills. MS/MR leaves 52 skillpoints free, which is enough for 2000 medic and 3000 scout with 8 left over. Or you could master marksman for the +5 rifle speed and have 18 skillpoints for 1000 medic or scout with one point left over.

you really dont need any other combat skills with Master rifleman, they are a nice compliment though. Especially CM or swordsman

I don't PvP very much, so I repeat the following from general knowledge of having read this forum for months: You will NOT be able to beata TKM if they get close to you. So your success with rifle depends on your ability to keep your distance. If you can keep your distance (e.g., kiting, or whatever) you should own the TKM. If he gets to you, he will probably own you.

I don't know much about fencers, but I suspect the same thing is true. Many times I have read that it is not necessarily the profession you play in PvP, but how well you play it.

As your fellow guildmate, I'm a master TK, and damn close to master rifleman, according to my math, Ill be able to keep my smuggler 0440, which is pretty much all the smuggling I've ever needed. With the same slicing as most masters and feign death, I'm extremelly content with these bubbles only in smuggler. I dropped master pistoleer the other day for rifleman because I didnt find that much benifet from the dirty fighting pistol moves of smuggler, and I should know, I was master gunfighter & TK for 3 months. I've explored the profession in depth and in the 50 trips to the geo labs I walked away from, I NEVER once pulled a pistol. Thats saying something since I have a 10mil credit pistol collection with unGodly pre nerfs in it. Smuggler fiegn death, and TKM is how I looted the geo labs 10 ways from sundown, and didnt die. For those who say masters get better slices, riiiiiiiight, that explains the 33% encumberance slices I occassionally get on my armor, and 28% or better speed/damage slices on weapons. Weigh it out yourself of course, but I do just find smuggler 0440. Hails Out.

Master Smugglers get an additional 5% added to their range of slices over a 0400 slicer. They are not equivalent slicers. This is not documented in the profession boxes but has been proven by the smuggling community and they are trying to get this documentation added to the Master box in the tree. Also, for those who are NOT familiar with smuggling/slicing: The quality of the tools we use is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT to slicing. I can use 1% quality tools while the guy next to me uses 99% quality tools and get the same or better slices. Don't fall prey to a slicer charging more for using "better tools".
