Thread: Jax missions pls help
If you do it right, you should get so many on you that you can't afford headshots.
As a human with max focus and willpower, I usually mindshot2 and if it doesn't hit for at least 1100, then I'll stack a mindshot1 on it, then shoot it once with a regular shot.
Doing MS2, MS1 and any headshot drains my mind too much to keep applying it to 15 different Jaxes.
For max XP, run to the mission and blast the lair to about half health, then start kiting. The damaged lair will start spawning more jaxes and you can get quite a crowd on you. If the DOT runs out then just reapply one of the DOT's. A jax with a sliver of health left still has like 2000 hit points...
If you want sword XP, then use mindshot2, mindshot1 and then do one lunge attack. DOT's don't count as damage, so if the only "real" damage you do is from a sword lunge, then you will get full sword XP from the kill. This is also why you have to do 1 normal shot if you want rifle XP. If you just do mindshots and no normal hits, then you won't get any XP.
I disagree with that. Mind cost is important, but being able to shoot one Jax for a single 1200 point DOT that will kill it saves you the mind cost of having to apply a 300 point DOT 4 times.
Also cuts down on the time spent killing one camp.
I took a jax pack lair mission...and they seem to heal that one too...everytime I start to get it down more spawn and heal it...and by the time I get them chasing me its all healed up and more spawn
They do have missions for these right? trying to find one atm and im at the smugglers outpost, does it matter which outpost im at?
and what should i be looking for for the jax missions like a certain direction or anything?
thanks for help
k i just got some of the missions and am doing them now, can you give me some tips like how to do them.
do i mindshot 2 then mindshot 1 each of them, then do i finish with headshot 2 or 3?
Why do people consider it an expolit? Simply the risk vrs reward is completly out of wack. If you pay attention you can do this risk free pretty much forever. So the risk is really low, and the reward is really really High. I don't think the developers intended for people to be maxing out Elite combat professions in a mater of days....
