Any high lvl MOB is capable of dropping them. Nightsisters are probably your best bet.

Let me take that back. I'm assuming you need rifle Speed tapes, not just any tapes, right? In that case, you're best bet is to keep your eyes on the Trade Forums and join solo hunting groups in Dantooine. No joke. Do 25k+ missions, you should clear about 500K per buff easily. Do that for a few days and wait for an auction. Honestly, money is a lot easier to come by than a specific skill tape. You might spend day before looting a tape and nothing says it will be a rifle speed one. Just concentrate on getting the dough for one.

Oh yeah, try Marauders too on Endorif you don't want the Trade Forumroute. Btw, Lord Nyax dropped a +11 Carbine Speed the other day, but that dude is dead most times I go there. Does anyone know if he only spawns once a day? I have a sneaking suspicion that he does...

A young man showed me the other day a AA he had looted. He was quite happy about it but I burst his bubble by telling him about the present bug that wont allow an AA with more than 1 enhancement work correctly.A CSR one day mentioned that only the first listed worked correctedly. He was pretty bitter.

His AA was something along the lines of +8 melee defense +10 defense vs Intimidation and +25 Rifle Speed. It was a pretty nice one I must say.

Highest mod will take. I hope he did not sell it, get a hold of him fast if you still remember his name. lol

First listed is if both the highest mods are a tie. Then first on the list out of the highest ones takes.

Ahh.. I didnt know that. He's a happy camper indeed I bet. Lemme ask this. As a Master Rifleman arent we pretty near the cap as it is? Wouldnt +25 be overkill?

+97 speed is all you'll ever need to do Stafe Shot 2 every second with a t-21 of speed lower than 9.7, i think. For mind shot it is less. Still nice though.

From a person who kills nightsisters religiously, I don't think they are your best bet. . Of the thousands of witches that I've killed I've managed to loot 2 attachments from them. Now if he was looking for crappy lances with a 40 health disease dot, then yes, nightsisters are your ticket.

I think he'd be better off running through the various caves and looting containers. Granted you probably won't get great mods, more like +1 or +2 ones, but if you only need +7 in rifle speed this mightbe easier. Or you could earn money like Martin suggested and just buy them.

**edit - The aakuan cave seems to be a good place to loot things I've found. I don't go there too often because usually the place is camped, but those guys usually have good drops. I haven't gotten a rifle tape from them, but I've gotten decent other tapes from them.

I'm so pissed about +rifle speed SEAs. I got +11 of them in armor many months back, when everyone and their mom was a TKM. Of course, that armor is 80-90 kinetic, NOT stun. Now with all the stun damage flying around in the game, not wearing stun armor is instant death in pvp. So i'm back to shooting slow like a noob, but at least i dont die in 3 headshots.

Ouch. Well, for next time I guess...I went the route of wearing a belt recently. They never lose condition, can have up to 4 slots, and can be worn over armor. Kiss wearing PSG's goodbye though if you go the belt route, cause unfortunately you can't wear a belt and a psg at the same time.

Regarding SEA's, I've looted them from Nym's on Lok, Marauders on Endor, NS's on Dathomir, andfaction NPC's anywhere. If you need faction points anyways, run some faction missions. They actually drop SEA's, are very fast to run, and you don't have to worry about delegate faction loss.

Tusken King can also drop some nice SEAs. And I think the Jinda cave on Endor still has 4-5 containers that loads SEAs in the +1, +2 range.

About placing AAs: Use the misc armor for that. Preferably a 4 socketed Ubese armor shirt. It has no condition so it never wears out.

Mabari/Padded belts are also good if you only plan to use them in PvE since belt and PSG shares slot. Ubese Bandoliers are fine too but they share slot with backpack.

CAs is best placed in a BE-shirt or a pair of gloves. But clothes does lose condition so try and only use it in PvP when insured.

Some rules to remember about multimodded tapes:

- Highest mod is active

- If it has two mods of the same value, First listed is the active

- You can activate a mod that isn't first listed or highest, by placing the tape in something which allready has the mod that normally should be active, ie:

If you have a SEA +5 x, +4 y and place it in something with say +1 x, then +4 y will be activated.
