Just wanted to get a quick consensus on what people were shooting with. I'm climbing toward Ranger and using a pistol in the process.

im a pistoleer and i think its great body shot is very strong and the gun i have is quite powerful all and all i think the pistol is the best weapon even though there are those who think it is weaker but that is just not true pistol is very effective and very good for ranged and close combat

I struggled with this quetion too when i was moving up the marksman skill tree, i choose pistol really mainly just because i started with one lol, i have though considered goin rifle but will prob stay with pistol...healthshot2(bleed)+bodyshot2 is deadly combo and if you get to pistoleer there is bodyshot3....cant wait

I am a Carbineer though I have considered moving on to rifle or pistol. I am not sure yet which is best. So far carbines work well but I can see why rifle could be a great choice.

Hello,

I use rifle due to the mind shot effects. Throw a noise maker and a Bone Spur and follow-up with a Head Shot. Call it a day

I am going Rifleman.

I picture my character more as a hunter for now, but with the concealment and rifle capabilities, hopefully, once things all get straightened out and fixed, I'll also be able to be a hidden sniper, doing my part in the GCW.

Rifles are a bit slower, but their are some pretty decent special moves that can be combined for really nice effects.

The only thing I don't like about the game set-up is that all the weapons have the same max range, when a Rifle should definitely be able to shoot farther than a Pistol. I mean, that's the whole point of a Rifle, isn't it? I understand the differences in ideal ranges and all, but still. There should be more difference between them. That having been said, I still use the Rifle, but mainly for the special moves and for Role-Playing my character.

I am a fencer, but i picked up rifle because of an experience of hunting paralopes on corellia.

For some reason they were moving, like a herd. I never saw that before so I followed along, picking off any of them that fell behind. I got no reward, but it was a lot of fun tracking them.

It would be great if the AI had a daily or monthly migration system. It would make hunting a lot more fun and interesting, ambushing animals on their trails.

I'm kind of curious how everyone is using wayfaring, since it really only improves prone speed which is best used with a rifle. I'm a melee character, so it doesn't help me much.
