Thread: Questions about Area Track
strange enough, I've often tracked animals 400m away in areas I hadn't previously traversed (and had no players on track either. But what do you expect at the edge of dathomir?)
It seems to work better for some people then for others I guess. For me it was often quite useful when hunting for specific resources.
That is the buggy part of our tracking. Just the way the spawning system works. Way too random. I am sure there are a few hunters out there that have used it a lot whereas I just happened to have not. But the spawn system is what make tracking so unreliable.

- Hits don't improve, but the quality of the skill does.
- No, preloading only activates in a 128m radius, your /areatrack will not trigger this and extend it.
- Actually, the ironic twist is slowing down or pausing might cause the server to spawn more, but not always.
Bottom line: you detect what is there already. Dynamic spawns activating as you pass through the area are not factored in.
