well im 4344 and i can track at least 500m away, its very useful imo depending on the style of play.



i tracked 3 krayts till now thats the biggest challange imo cos they move about all the time.

Right, at 500m the trick is that it will pick up a critter thats already spawned. However, there is a dead zone in /ar. around the 200-300meter mark (i think im right, if not someone clarify).

also, as you enter the 128m space, random spawns also happen that are kinda embarassing when you cant see 100m infront of your own face.

i'm only on tracking2 and last night i tracked, 2 ancients, 3regular, and 2 juvie krayts. Seems like it works great at some times and bad at other times.... i'll have to play with it more
