First off, let me say that I'm glad Rangers aren't as whiny as a lot of the other professions. We aren't crying to nerf other professions and we have been patient while we have waited for a response to our outdoorsman proposal. More than patient in fact. I was sure that as soon as we got a new correspondent, some answers would be coming our way. I know we know have another top 5 list that is going to them, which follows out top 10 list, and our outdoorsman proposal. My question is, why send in something else when the previous submission hasn't even been acknowledged or responded to? A lot of community and correspondent work went into that, and it seems like it's been tossed to the side. It seems like the devs only talk to the professions that cry the most. Look at the dev tracker. You can see them fixing and talking to just about everyone other than rangers. It's ridiculous. They are taking advantage of our good natured patience. Calc, can you please put some pressure on them to acknowledge us?

Well considering DE and ID are higher priority, I'd guess right after the Pikeman revamp.

That's what I mean. Everyone else is either getting revamped, looked at, communicated with, or tweaked in some fashion, while the Rangers patiently wait in their leaky tents. We need to stand up for ourselves and get at least the courtesy of a reply.

I am really glad that they are upgrading the junk dealers, I mean how often do you all find things specifically to trade and barter with a junk dealer? I cant go a day without checking whats new, and how much i can get for the maroj melon i found off of a ragtag kook.

As for them being a non player profession, honestly they deserve it more than we do, for it is the junk dealer that is at the heart of the player economy and ingame immersion.

Well, if anyone deserves attention sooner than us it's the SLs. They've been ignored for longer than us, and from what I hear while they at least have a definition of their profession from the devs, and a niche in the game, none of their abilities actually work, kind of like chefs were before their revamp only worse.


We can only hope that if they're paying attention to the other ignored professions, maybe our number is coming up.


Not bloody likely, but a man can dream.
