Got your politically correctness backwards. People are asians, and objects are oriental. Like you can get an oriental rug, or food locally, but the guy that makes it is an asian dude. Unless you wanted to be more specific and say Chinese food or people, then you're safe.
And first thing I think of when people say ethnic is black people. That makes me wonder. In the states, they're "African Americans" but what are they outside of America?
And unless it's Kung Pao Chicken, then you can have my share of the food.

That actually sounds good. The only spring rolls I've been able to get lately consist of some pale greenish stuff interspersed with unidentifiable pink lumps. I think they are supposed to be shrimp, but suspect they are pork pretending to be shrimp. The spring rolls look suspiciously similar to the egg rolls.
I've been doing alot of Asian Cooking at home lately. Got myself a GREAT wok set, and some good cookbooks.
Been making Thai, Indian, and Japanses food.
Thereare large Indian and Oriental populations in both Lancaster and Harrisburg, so there are lots of ethnic grocery stores around, so i've been having a great time learning to cook Asian food.
Tried making Fried Spring Rolls but that was a nightmare. They kept popping open inside the oil i was deep-frying them in, and just didn't turn out very well.
