that's why i won't learn to make sushi. as much as i'd love to be able to make sushi, i just think it would be too much trouble to do it yourself.

You guys need fish and chip shops over there. Nothing like a fish and chip buttie on a cold morning at the football.

i'll probably regret asking this, but what is a "buttie"?

and speaking of Oriental Cooking, last night i made something out of my cookbook. I made Stir Fried Coconut Sweet Potatoes and Beef. It was GREAT!!! It had cut up steak, diced sweet potatoes (i didn't know sweet potatos were even used in Oriental cooking), some spices to make it hot, some other veggies, and coconut milk. serve it over Jasmine Rice, and it was a GREAT dinner. I'm even getting good at throwing food in the air with the wok and catching it in order to flip it over.

I'm mostly learning to make this kind of stuff cuz my girlfriend loves any oriental food, and out of the 2 of us, i'm the one that can cook, so i figured it'd be cheaper, and more fun to cook at home instead of getting takeout or eating out.

I don't think Dr. Atkins would approve of a French Fry Sandwich.
