GarVa's just a forum mod, and has no dev control over the game, so unfortunatly, there's nothing he can do about fixing Ranger.

Garva has time to police the forum becuase it's his job (and he's quite good at it)! He has no control over the game itself (as Oreet said). Hopefully he has time to come back and nerf some trolls.

As others have said, GarVa isn't a developer, he's a moderator. It's like asking why the security guard isn't mopping the floors while he's on duty. Sure, he's in the building, but just because he's there doesn't mean he should be doing somebody else's job.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Actually, his title says "Community Relations", not"SOE Forum Moderator". I realize he isn't a dev, but it doesn't hurt to get somebody on the inside working for the Ranger community. I'd say knowing theSecurity Guardis better than knowing nobody.

By the way, is GarVa a dev? I wasn't able to tell from your posts.

GarVa works in Austin, but he doesn't collect threads about which professions to fix and that sort of stuff. Basically, yes, knowing a security guard is better than nothing...but it won't help if you're trying to get the floors cleaned.

By the way, starting a thread with this title probably won't exactly engender him to our cause. Let the man do his job in peace. We shouldn't act like other professions and get all "me me me" when a person from the SOE team posts here. He was here to respond to a single thread, let him do as he wishes, and not expect more from him. I'm done bumping this thread because there's absolutely nothing constructive that will come out of this thread.

information and bugged information from the boards. We do not how
ever have any say in what professions get fixed in what order.
