Have any of you helped anyone with their hero of Tat mission to slay the Wild Bladeback Boar? I ask because I have been looking for this thing for weeks (it's the last one I need to complete) and still can't find it. I have the XP to pick up Novice Ranger and I was wondering if the /areatrack animals would help me with this or if I shouldn't bother.

I was asked to help someone track this thing and, while I had never actually tracked for someone before, it was super easy. I found it relatively quickly.
So ya, /ar was really useful... especially since this client had been driving around for a while with no luck.

I have not looked for the boar, but I have found the moisture farmer and the pirate for some folks. Moisture farmer took about 5 minutes. The pirates took a little longer, but areatrack does work (most of the time).

It definitely helps. You'll need to get 0030, though if you want to find the direction of the animal you're tracking.

For me, the boar was the second hardest mark -- the pirate being the hardest. I only found them by tracking. The moisture farmer supposedly wanders around a lot, but he's not hard to find either.

It helped me very good. I still need to do the moistore farmer, all others i did in 10 minutes tracking

I must be doing something wrong...
I have spent hours out there looking for that Moisture Farmer.
Still havent found him

I found the other 4 all relatively quickly, but I have been all over the area encompassed by the WPs given in the guides and have come up empty with the boar.

So my next question then...where can I find a Ranger trainer? Oh, and I am on Chilastra if that helps name player cities who have a ranger trainer.

Hmm...whereabouts are you normaly looking for the Moisture Farmer anyways??
This is my second atempt now, and im about to go crazy.
I was told by someone to look in the area around 3000, 1000, just outside of Mos Entha
Spent a few hours looking for that Farmer now, and i have a strong feeling i will slap
him a few times if i even manage to find him

The moisture farmer (who is the dealer of the Altruism Badge I beleive) is found roughly in an area to the southwest of Mos Taike and southeast of Mos Espa I have heard tales that he can wander over towards Bestine though from this spawn area....

The boar likes to lurk to the east of Falcon Hold (Chilastra Server) and i've come across it a number of times whilst rangering in that area purely by chance. **WARNING** thar be Tusken's in them thar hills so watch your back...

The official Ranger Trainer is located outside the northeast? walls of Mos Taike, but i've seen them in most player cities near the shuttle ports including Kratia, Tus'kens Bane and many of the cities in the south of the map.

I actually found him this time, but a friend of mine went to him and spoke to him before i could,
and the little f**** despawned. lol
Now i have to start all over again :S
