Hey guys. I have finally read *most* of this forum and the Correspondent forum to catch up with whatI missed. I am sorry for the Bothan-Punch incident, but whichever one of you put him in there needs to own up to it. As for the pile of passed out wookiees..I am sorry I wasn't there to collect some pelts; I need a knew coat.

TH has requested a few documents from me, but nothing major (or that we haven't submitted before). I will be taking some time in the next few days to put these together, but other than that, it will be business as usual here on the Ranger board.

I would like to say that I am sorry for some of the behavior I saw whilst I was gone (although, I am sure had I been here that the posts would have happened anyway). I have been a little to lax in enforcing our code of dignity or whatever you will call it. It is certainly not my job to moderate this forum, but I I like to think that i can at least help uphold the respect the many have for us. I guess I am saying that we need to think twice before we post out of anger/frustration/drunkeness or what have you.

The worst example of this was when a new Ranger posted a question that was common knowledge and was met with small flames, flames none the less. If this person were to take those comments to heart, it could tarnish our reputation (which goes much further than y'all may realize). I will state that I don't know every single minute detail about this game or the professions I belong to, andI would hope that if I posted what saome may see as a silly question, that I would get a kind response and not a flame/troll-like answer.

I know I am guilty of evil posting, but you guys should see the stuff I type and never submit (which is a great skill to have...the ability to NOT hit submit). Let's keep things civil in here, and focus our efforts on helping people and getting some dev love.

Agreed. About the only bankable feature we have as rangers is the respect we garnish from other professions and the developement team by holding on to our dignity even in times of mounting anxiety and frustration.

Any chance you could ask about the PvP/PvE thing in the correspondent's forum? We are getting two vastly different viewpoints on this. GreenMarine is telling us that we are still meant to be PvE only (even if he hasn't seen the Outdoorsman and he is not directly involved with the ground game he is still a Dev and was still saying this). On the other hand, we are being told that the GCW is the new end game and that every profession will play a part. While these views are not mutually exclusive (we could be turned into the resource collectors and loot hunters), they are confusing (I really hope that they don't give Rangers the passive role). But it really is important to know.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Ummmm......where to start. Firstly, I want to apologize to both Oiyan, "Where to find a peko peko feather" , and Easy-Exanip " Of course the Ranger community..." for my replies to there post. I really have no excuse for my behavoir. I hope you can forgive me for my actions.

Secondly I want to apologize to the Ranger community for embarrassing them and jepordizing the respect and gratitude from the other professions that has been fostered over a long period of time, by my behavoir. I will strive to make my post as constructive and benificial as I can from now on.

Sorry all

I agree whole heartedly with your comments Calc and I would like to add that it is inevitable that we will have members of this community who are rude and abusive to others, however we shouldn't tolerate that kind of behavior or make excuses for those who are rude and abusive. Whenever we do that it only puts you in the same category as the troll.

Just to be clear I'm not talking about you Calc, but there are others among us who do this on a regular basis.

I always do my best to answer questions that have been asked a million times before with a friendly "go here for the faq, it has a lot of info, and here's the answer you were looking for specifically."

But, I can see why someone would snap after the millionth time someone asks "how do you guys make money?" or "why should I bother using my skill points on Ranger?"

That is a good way to go about it . Giving a destination works a little better than 'search the forums.' I just wich people would start by looking in the Ranger Links thread .

I can too, but that doesn't make it right. Ifone can't be helpful, don't reply to the post.
