Thread: Ranger Hall of Fame Harvest Size/Time Spent

Well, since someone mentioned it, I figured I would get the ball rolling....


My biggest score was 130k of Dath Insect meat in 3 days of power harvesting. Used a harvesting droid with a 104 harvesting mod. with 30% veghash. The harvesting droid came into it's own not because of the miniscule amount of extra harvest, but because it allowed me to keep killing at a fast pace and harvest at the same time. I went to the NS stronghold. Stopped about 600m and used area track to walk a shrinking spiral around the stronghold killing every spider I could get my hands on. Left it just long enough to go get rebuffed when needed. Went out fully stocked with brandy and canapes, ranged weapon powerups and droid batteries. Average game time was about 4 hours on all 3 nights. I walked away feeling like a blood-drunk wreck, and really haven't harvested much since. lol


On a good note though, all the time and effort payed off when 90k of it sold for 3,600,00 credits. Now if I could just find a use for my camps......lol



Please post you own top harvest/t time spent harvesting achievement. We should take every opportunity to feel good about our selves and profession that we can. Might make the wait till revamp bearable. :

40k meat,2 hourswith no downtime, killing rancors with a group of 5, in the Rancor Valley...gave it away .

Around 60k Dath Leathery hide inabout 2 hours. Just me and a Jedi. Jedi did the killing, I did the harvesting and tracking. Gave most of the stuff to the Jedi.

70k Naboo Avian meat in about 5 days. Kaadu missions and a few wild Kaadu/Peko Peko spawns thanks to Areatrack, was before the droids but was using +29 veghash. Was extremely tired of Kaadu's and harvesting after this so decided to do Jabba's themepark. Guess what Jabba wanted for dinner....

10k of Lok meat (forget which type), harvested from only Flits...1k-1.5k cr missions, took me 3 days because flits give around 50 meat from the toughest (cons a white to a nov TKA)...i went mad doing that.

20k Naboo Avian Meat inless thanaround 2 to2 and a halfhours, i think- sort of...



Got asked to get 20k of the latest Avian Meat so hit a town on east Naboo called Reviel i think. (Chimaera) that so happens to have another town about 1.5k to the east.



I'd take two Kaadu missions at a time from the west town in an easterly direction, so when they were finished I was close to the east town. Then I'd take two mission from there heading back west.


At the first visit to the east town I found two guys taking mission terminal jobs so I told them I would pay them 100 credits per unit of Kaadu meat. With them helping out I managed to get the 20k in one evening session, and my employer was extremely happy.



I try and outsource as much of my work as possible, even to the extent of not making any profit from it in some cases.



Respect to ANYONE who got the Corellian Avian Meat. I couldn't get any mission terminal jobs for it and gave up after getting 700 units.

20k Naboo Avian over 5 nights. started with two Kaadu missions to the east out of Theed . From there tracked wild spawns of Kaadus and Peko Peko's to Kaadra, Deja peak,and Moenia. A bit lonely, as I did this solo. I had a great time.

I have done the 100's of k thing to death, I don't even know my record, to be honest. The one I'm the most proud of, however, is 10k Corellian Wooley Hide in one hour. Do I know Corellia? Oh ya....

Some of y'all certainly beat the odds. Any stack of >1k avian meat (or anyhting from Corellia) is impressive, but >10-20k of avian meat is impressive! I have a doc peeved with me becuase I gave up on collecting the most recent Wanderhome spawn of Naboo avian after it took me all night to collect 3k! I need to get back to hunting again (been doing the faction and pistol levelling things).

ok... the fact is, when I say nearly went mad... I cannot recognize my own psychosis... but I assure you, my friends can.

Oppma continualy has to medicate me or Im off doing something stupid again.

I had to be restrained once... not a good feeling.
